  1. I was waiting for this comment. Im looking at the SSA subs and i have a pair of xsv2's here with me and they look very alike. I have the chrome motor v2's but ive had the newer xsv2's with slightly diferent top plate which look almost exactly like these SSA's What's your point? Who fucking cares what I looks like. Does it make you feel better pointing out the resemblance of the two drivers.
  2. Well, i havent seen IA ever do anything bad compared to some other brands out there but i cant say nobody could ever not do bad.. Just implying i'm not expecting it to happen. Anyways, a Pre-Order or Group Buy is a means of collecting money to help pay for a bulk shipment... The problem with some companies is they use this tactic because they have financial issues with how much they order at once. Now, if that's the case with ANY company, then NEVER do a pre-order. Bad business practice because if something changes, then this will happen if that's what happened. Now, on a negative note.... The entire time i've been on SSA, i've never heard EVER once that the price of Neo has gone down... So, unless a miracle happens.. I wouldn't expect it to. These comments aren't implying IA is or may have attempted the above, it's an informative post about what happens when these things are generated and the possibilities that could happen if poor judgment is used in the business.
  3. I'm not getting out. I'm just saying my attention has been elsewhere. I have a new baby on the way so were trying to get prepared for that. Me and the Wifey need some quality time together.
  4. I'll try to snap a few. Once I get to work I forget the camera. I meant have wifey post pictures of you attempting to figure out Ze German wirez!
  5. car audio is a hobby, not a priority. Once your priorities are consistently in line, then you can come back and play with us. We all have these issues. Nobody's perfect.
  6. We can just sweep our other issues away or manipulate the press not to cover them.
  7. We live in a capitalist market. It's the same for gas, eggs, milk, and bologna. It's worth what people are willing to pay for it.
  8. LOLz, You gotta think tho paper game vs priority game lol But looky what i got. Shit fell off the couch and broke my moms marble tile FTL, Waiting on the other 1 with the 2 baskets, weird they didn't come the same day since he said he shipped them the same day. On another note fixed my 4x4 finally, dam transfer case motor was crapped out. Cant wait for some more snow so i can see what these tires are made out of.
  9. While AP has been awesome, you can not deny it to Peyton. The man was on the brink of retirement, hadn't thrown a ball in a year, worked with 100% new everything, and look what he's done. Agreed. No way AP is a most valuable player. His feat is individual and his team is not going to the playoffs dominantly because of him. Peyton brought it home in a totally dominating fashion.

Gross volume is the volume of the enclosure before any displacements (port volume displacement, driver volume displacement, bracing, etc). Net volume is the volume of the enclosure after all displacements. Port tuning is based on port area, port length, and enclosure volume. The latter must be net volume since the port displacement alters this number. This should help: http://bitpusher.in/?p=ported

Pressure would only matter if it were a vented pole. Then you would need to drill a tiny hole in the dustcap. Solid pole like the zcon wouldn't matter.

nic watts, i donno he didnt sand the cap first. so maybe thats why.. but after i gooped the one the cone tore... im starting to think maybe im driving them too hard but.. shit.. im running an NS-1 steve clamped 4700 watts to each of his if i recall correctly .... unless my small box is causing too much pressure
  13. They are broken in. If the 6th order isn't designed extremely well it'll give you no gain. I'd also say 8's are really an odd choice when you have that much space...
  14. While I agree there are some things purchasers in preorders have to deal with, such as the ETA being pushed back some due to customs or raw material outages, I think being given an initial ETA and then being told that there is an indefinite time frame for delivery is way outside of acceptable. We only have 1 side of the story right now, so it's tough to say.....but if they are waiting "indefinitely" for the price of Neo to drop back down to where they are happy with the profit margin then that is complete and total bullshit. They ran the preorder knowing the price of raw materials may change, they are liable to honor that preorder with a reasonable time of delivery regardless of whether or not they lose their ass on the deal due to the cost of materials rising. According to the OP it's not that they don't have access to Neo due to a lack of materials....they simply don't want to pay for it because it's too expensive and they'll either not make enough money or lose money. That's not acceptable. Build the subs you agreed and were paid to build. If that means you lose money because you made a bad business decision, then tough shit. Build the fucking subs.
  15. Spend more time with my family. Be a better husband and father.
