We are not going overseas with our subs. The topic wasn't even about sub's, it was more about seeing people's thoughts on SSA following all these other 'brands' who are doing nothing more then just slapping logo's on the cheapest of-the-shelf products they can find, just to fill out their product line. The explosive response only reaffirms why we are proud to keep our sub woofers built here.

  5. Okay, Finally got the battery situation figured out. The people at Sears could NOT find my invoice, they said they couldn't find anything (come to learn 99% likely they didn't want to warranty them out because it means money out of their pockets), so I had my friend who works at a different local sears store.. Within 5 minutes he had it pulled up and faxed over, with invoice in hand they STILL "couldn't" find the original invoice even with the same invoice numbers.. After about 5 minutes of bitching at them they finally pulled it up.. THEN they tried to nit pit about how on the computer the product number is xxxxx31 and on the receipt it said xxxxx31m. After a few more minutes of bitching them out they finally agreed to warranty them out. What I'm "assuming" what happened; is one of them had a bad cell and it drained the shit out of them to the point where the went bad. They sat 2 months uncharged in very cold temps in my garage Initial test fit, Seems like they were almost made to fit, they fit tightly side to side, luckily the C&D's were less than .25 wider than the diehards. put the larger C&D's on the outside to distribute the weight of the larger batts. Used a strip of 12 ga angle iron (I don't know the exact name) to hold them from moving backwards.. Yes those are wing nuts, I ran out of washers and wanted to get it all in, lol.

  12. Neal, just an FYI, but if you want to make the stars still, just make a reverse mold with rubber and then fill with body filler. Simple and quick.
  13. OP, you'd better order some subs and an amp from them. Don't wait for future products. For the cost of 2 wardens you may get some very good IA subs and 2 amps, even some comp sets ! Go for it, don't wait !
  14. finally some updates! Did some tidying of some wires, but that was about it.. while I was gone 4 of my diehards went bad, so I'm waiting for them to be replaced, a battery rack will soon follow.
  15. Finished product.
  16. Now I need to get carpet and cut some stars out.
