  1. wow some little cunt is marking all myshit neg lol
  2. There is no performance sacrifice. We have never down graded our models.
  3. I will say that the Dcon is not amazing in a sealed enclosure. I had a 10" Dcon on 300 watts in the recommended sealed enclosure and was not what I was expecting. Lacked output and what some people consider "punch". It did blend and sound amazing musically though. I put it in a ported enclosure and it was a night and day difference with output. If you go with the Dcon, I personally suggest a mid-high 30's tuned ported enclosure. My girlfriend listens to country and alternaive rock, and 37hz worked wonderful. She now has a 15" Fi X at 34hz and is equally impressive on these genres.
  4. you can reinforce frames no doubt. shit one of my heavy wreckers has whats called a tripple frame
  5. they have a socket for it.. i have one if you were here.... you can leave it un hooked temp.. is it after or before the cat?

  8. The eggs be hatching at the Haunt.
  9. I guess a single page pulled from a book with a couple pictures is a lot to read these days.If you clicked on the link you would see a page refrenced lol LOL. man when I clicked the link it took me straight to the cover page. And yes..there was two pictures on it! B-) You're using Internet Exploder aren't you? lol Pages 82 & 83 are the pertinent information they're referencing, but just for future reference that's a book everyone in this hobby should own for their own referencing. 7th edition is the latest, just FYI.
  10. Here's the final drawings and cutsheet. Here you go man, just a little smaller. Let me know if you need any help with anything on it.
  11. That's just awesome. It also goes to show how they just DO NOT build anything to last anymore, except maybe a few choice brands of subwoofers . It's great to see these old cars brought back to life and bring a little piece of nostalgia back from a much different time. Makes me really want to get to work on my dad's El Camino SS. He and I had made plans to get it back on the road together about the same time he found out he had cancer. It's a shame we never got to get on that project, though it will be a great experience for me and my kids. From one son to another, spend as much time as you can with him on this stuff. The memories are too important not to.
  12. Fun project, I'd roll around in it exactly how it looks, body would be the last thing I would touch. The patina style is kind of cool.
  13. Long distance is tough.
  14. got the 3k on my xcon holy. crap. that thing slams wish i could get both of them in there but if i can fit a ported xcon enclosure in there id be fine that.
  15. You have to unplug it, the slide the box end over. The angles the box puts me are impossible. SHouldn't be. The PS is easily acessible under the truck, while the DS you can get from under, or crank the wheel all the way to the right and sneak in through the wheel well. Wait, are you using a 6 or 12 point box?
  16. i dont even know what your talking about bro lol show me
  17. oh and some asshole memeber on SSA PMed me insulting me.. and he told me to " enjoy your wrecker life" as if my job is somthing to be ashamed of.... i work with and do things alot of people can not.. i take risk and and make decions that involve other peoples well being.. if i mis calculate other people die... so im proud of what i do because i do it well... im a young man that does a job that other wont, cant, and shouldnt.... .and i clean up the roads so you can act like a douche bag and make it to work on time.

Yeah the V2s have different cooling, and they recently switched to nomex spiders. When I was looking at mine Aaron said that I wouldn't have any issues running a V1 and a V2 in the same enclosure, so they are that similar.
  25. i know the basket is prolly black and your old one is silver and the spiders are yellow not black ... umm some cooling... google is Fin sweet check it http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/58165-xcon-v1-v2/
  26. Thanks man. All my friends have kits like this but I don't wanna mess with the underglow since its a lease and I can't drill holes.

That's an awesome way to blow a new subwoofer. Sundown even says do not play your new sub at rated power until the break in.
  28. I'd love to sit and read all of that. But cant right now. What chapter or page references what we're discussing?
  29. hey! gaiz damn I forgot to reply...guess I was too busy lol Anywho's...lettuce chat SBN was awesome, great to see XS Power and Mechman sponsoring the Escalade while you phaggots drive around in your tin cans lol Oh yeah, the video shoot was crazy too http://youtu.be/JPNHXsWASIE
