Nothing is truly a "risk only to one's self". If he's hurt or worse, his family will be the ones suffering for it, not him. Either way, if he wants to do this on a private/abandoned runway, go for it, but on a public road... it's just a danger to others as well as himself.

Well guys, after a very loooooong wait...its finally over! And let me tell you, I have not even heard this thing yet and Im already creaming my panties. Here are some pictures, and when I have it installed hopefully a little bit later today I will update with pics. For those of you who already own an SSA subwoofer this will be nothing new for you (but probably brings back some great memories!). For those sitting on a fence trying to decide which way to go??? .... I have to say as far as shipping goes, SSA gets an SSA+. Holy shit you guys do this right! You guys even included a living room table! My son playing in the box. 15" Xcon vs 12" Pioneer shallow mount sub...no contest.

It is all the other people he will harm and even kill when things go wrong. Trust me there is nothing more life changing than seeing some one on a bike tear through a minivan killing the kids in the back seat and mother in the front seat, all while the father is helpless trapped and can't get to his family. Yes that really happened. I was there.

SoI let it jam this morning, wow. I sound deadened my doors and trunk area (dynamat,ccf,mlv etc) and this sub found places to rattle that never did before! Curse you Xcon.

Do some research on here about the dd1. I know about the unit already him and I have talked and was going to meet up and use his to tune my new amp when i get one. I basically was simply filling my post requirements inthe Newbie section. Thats all. That's cool man, I'd still advise you to check out some info on here before you use it

I competed in the Texas Showdown this past weekend. I competed in the USACI SQ Mod class. No metering here just straight SQ. Here are some pics. Got the ol' Suburban all washed up and ready for the voyage from San Antonio to Houston. Here is what I saw as I drove up to the show. As usual, my fhawking battery died. This is where the show coverage stops. Here are the highlights. The plaque is for taking 1st in SQ mod out of one. The flag trophy is for best in show SQ class out of 6 competitors. It was a good show. Got to catch up with fellow SSA member Steve Mead and made some new friends. Always a good time regardless of the venue size. Just got to remember to smile and wave.

We are actually known for some of the worst roads in the US Luckily they have been repaving this highway shown this month haha! But yes, during the day there is no traffic compared to Larger cities. I live about 20 miles outside KC

Sir, I do not bad mouth ANY product or anybody on this forum. And I do respect what you post. So can you please do me (and my car build) a favor, show me the same respect and not bad mouth any products or anybody on my build log ??? Thank you in advance ... Like I said, I have no idea what the final numbers will be until everything is measured out, built, tested and tuned ... at this point in time, I have ALOT more things that need to be done before this is even an issue !!! A spade is a spade. If you are fully absorbed into believing something not based solely on fact there is a level of BS. Of course you took it out of context, even in your quote . Please re-read, it wasn't a bad mouth at all about a product but a request that you attempt to think for yourself and understand something once instead of blindly following. It is a really good skill in life to have.
