Yes Sir, I will give this to Johnathon Price ... at any given show or event, he will not compete, but show up religiously and crank that system up for anybody that wants to hear it !!! Wide open and dishing out everything that truck has to offer ... one day shows, two day shows, or even three day shows !!! all day long demo after demo after demo ... and people wonder why his truck is always getting worked on inbetween shows and events ...I've seen it too many times to count ... Say what you want, but JP is the demo king and most shows and events playing music, not just bass ... Please don't get me wrong here cause I'm not one of these in any way ... I'm just saying ...And to be honnest, Like Julian said ... I've seen that guy act crazy at several events, so I'm not really sure why this vid of a guy in a thong has got anything to do with JP other than the guy is walking around JP's truck ... Hell, JP himself is barely in the vid at all I would second that. Both Saturday and Sunday at Slamology JP was demoing for 80% of the time. It was like a line at the roler coaster lol.

For what it's worth. I asked for a demo at slamology, and was given one. So...

Windows vista/7/8 is fucking stupid with all the owner permissions. Total royal pain in the ass. If for some reason it's still being problematic after changing owner settings download a Linux live-cd to a usb drive, boot from the usb-drive, and use it to copy and paste over, it won't give you any grief. It's a bit of an over the top solution, but downloading, copying to usb drive, and booting would take less than 15 minutes. After 5 minutes of searching I just realized that downloading one will be the lengthiest process....when it includes figuring out which one. Ubuntu is straight forward. http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/thank-you?release=lts&bits=64&distro=desktop&status=zeroc Download http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/ for windows, use it to put the iso file to a usb drive, or burn iso file to cd/dvd. Restart computer, boot into ubuntu, select "try live cd" if it asks. I love being able to look at all my porn from my desktop on my Ipad while at the same time being able to use mspaint or calculator. It's handy when I have something going on the desktop and I'm in the living room on the laptop, or if I'm out of town and need to check something on the desktop where SSH won't suffice. Other than that I don't use it that often. When do you use the SSH instead? My common use will be altering something on the house PC while I am at work. I always multitask and have a ton of shit to do that would be great on another monitor. I'd rather add an output and monitor and keep my desk otherwise, but have my home pc in the office. Same thing when I am around the house dicking around on the PC. Being on the home pc free's up a lot of redundant programming and fuckery to get other shit sync'd to my laptop or other pc's/tablets around the house. I use ssh for anything that doesn't use a gui. So if I need to open a text file, edit source code, or run a program then it's all ssh. That I'm not sure about. I'll have to start up windows and test with my laptop later.

While you got it stripped I'd look into pushing the fire wall towards the front to get your sound stage further away.

I would look into Sundown, Incriminator Audio, and Crescendo. Everyone on the forums seem to be happy with them. I would steer clear of Skar Audio, the owner is sketchy. Kicker, Rockford, JBL, JL, MTX, etc are all nice too but cost a significant amount more than the original three suggestions.

Air ride technologies is nice but way overpriced. For a cruiser I would contact Boris at Street Machinery. That's who will be doing my air ride kit. I won't be auto crossing so its all good

I'm not going to have final say what the enclousres will be tuned to cause I'm leaving that up to Linear Power. Mid 30s ??? No thank you, I would run them sealed before I went any higher than 28 htz. but thanks for your opinion ... But whatever goes in there, I trust those guys not to dissapoint !!! Randal, you need to learn to read. Nowhere did I say to tune to the mid-30's I was referring to the response of the driver in an enclosure. If you'd pull your head up out of the LP BS for a second and actually spend 20 seconds modeling something you could learn a shit ton. When you do, you will see how stupid a 24Hz tune on some 8's up front will be. If Ray even hints that it is a good idea then he knows donkey dick about audio.

The enclosures that are installed in my truck are tuned at 24 htz ... Kinda figured this will work just as well in the old 49 ... Plus, I do not want a sub enclosure in the trunk area taking up space (just not needed to get the output I'm looking for), got too many plans for that truck area !!!It isn't a good idea to use assumptions. In this case, I know I'd much rather have flat response is within 3dB to the mid 30's than to extend a few Hz lower on the bottom. In particular when the trade off is that the 3dB down point on the other enclosure happens around 10Hz higher. This is compounded by the length of the labyrinth port you are going to end up on the small enclosure. Yuck. Go ahead if you like, but don't expect "SQ" with that alignment choice.

Like I said, I have no idea what the final numbers will be until everything is measured out, built, tested and tuned ... at this point in time, I have ALOT more things that need to be done before this is even an issue !!! A spade is a spade. If you are fully absorbed into believing something not based solely on fact there is a level of BS. Of course you took it out of context, even in your quote . Please re-read, it wasn't a bad mouth at all about a product but a request that you attempt to think for yourself and understand something once instead of blindly following.
