  1. You need to build a closed rear chambered bandpass and port it thru the ski hole
  2. So, lately Ive been asking a lot of questions about subs that I've been interested in. I've narrowed down the subs to just two choices 2 Sundown SA-12s or 2 Fi SSD 12s. After purchasing the subs I plan to build a ported enclosure and purchase an amp. I want loud subs with deep bass. Tell me which subs you would go with and why. Also if you'd have experience with either subs. Also would like to purchase an amp under 300$ that's 1200-2000 watts any suggestions. Thanks.
  3. Here's an example of what some of the others are recommending as far as a bandpass enclosure ported through the ski-hole/rear armrest.. Build I did last year in my 2002 530i... It was for experimental purposes and not permanent so don't mind the ugliness..
  4. Zcon 15 on a used crescendo bc2k or db-r sundown saz1500. With big box and plenty of port area. That'd be a winner!

  7. How can peak and burp power be listed? (hint it might have something to do with the lack of offers on anything PSI).
  8. I'll take 12s in proper enclosure over 15s in a cramped enclosure period.

That thing is going to be brand new when you get done! I wish I was capable of 1/10th of what you can do.
  12. Most trunk cars won't actually allow for a pair of 15s to fit properly unless you build the enclosure inside the car.
  13. He's putting them in a 98 extended cab s10. Sa12s are a bit cheaper, made in china. You get them ASAP. SSD's are custom built for you here in the US. Gotta wait a bit buy Fi quality is worth it IMO. I run sa12s. Come over to my house Stephen, ill show you what they can do. If I had to do it again I would go SSD for the slight power handling difference and the fact I've never really heard a Fi in a good box sound bad. Love Fi quality.

sure will make it hard to put the flames out!
  15. First off, awesome work! I've never been a fan of carbon fiber. Personally, I'd like to see you carry over the metallic black on the motor to your dustcap.
