  1. SSA now has all IA amps listed in the store... http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/categories/amplifiers/incriminator-audio.html
  2. Love the ride and the idea! I've gotta go with Nike on this one, Just do it!
  3. Didn't know they made an 8 foot sub. Generally speaking a single ported 8" sub doesn't make sense as the box ends up being big due to the port. Better off running something larger sealed if you are trying to minimize your box size.
  4. My box builder would kill me if I sell the sub to someone else !!!! He wants a second N2 for so long : he's already looking for recone price ! He will come to my house later because he did not see the basket price ! I'm the one who speak English and got the Mastercard ! No trade sorry !
  5. The Fi X series is just underutilized, and severely so. SSA has the same problem with the DCON and I would suppose even the GCON as well and I'm certain that Incriminator sees the same issues with their two lower powered lines. For some reason everyone thinks they have to have at least 3kw of subs and amps to make a good and loud setup and it's just so far from the truth. My sister's single 12" DCON on ~500watts sounds impressively good, can rattle your teeth just fine, and didn't cost an arm and a leg to pick up. It didn't need $1K in electrical upgrades (none actually) and it gets loud enough, even for me. The Fi X's are targeted toward people who for whatever reason are limited to running in the 500-800 wrms per sub power range. While they can handle more, especially so with the BP option, pushing power levels to them that far over their rating bring the user to the point that the SSD's become the next logical step up and the price difference reflects that, IMO. The X is the more budget oriented line. It's a great sub in it's own right but not quite up on the same level as the SSD. While both are for daily listening setups, both have triple progressive spider packs, both are 3" voice coils, and both have cooling options, the size and configuration of the motors plays to the subtle fact that the SSD will have an edge in output. Neither are going to disappoint though so you/your customer can buy with confidence they're getting a great sub.
  6. well having such great friends wher I am at I get to see a lot a ssa cars every weekend. that said when I was getting ready for a show I broke a sub and one my ssa friends " ZACK "lent me two his spare zcons for the weekend I was one db louder then with the old stuff. so when I decided to build another car I went with zcons ....wait wife bought 2 zcons then said said lets go car shoping!~!!! she has spnt last year in advance 1 holding her own. so then I here the secrete is out "kirbys" have evils..... my boy Justin has EVILS.... well I decided to wall my cop car and well I'm hopeing for something truly EVIL . So here I am.
  7. I still don't think it would be worth it on a daily driver. Just my opinion.
  8. seems to me like the engine idle is to low for the alternator to keep everything running but 14.3 at first start up is normal since cold start up the voltage is high but at idle it should be 13.8. i would probable get a dmm and test the battery if the battery is at 13.8 when your readings are low then that means your voltage meter is off or the current that has to go through the pcm and all the other goodness to show what the voltage is at idle and a 2k rev. i would say get a friend to com over and have a dmm put the points up to the post when the engine is warm and your readings are low see if the battery voltage stays at 13.8 and then crank the system to its maximum playing volume before clipping and see what the drop is if the voltage drops alot from the dmm then that would mean you need a (more powerful) alternator then the stock output one but with 600 watts the dimming should not be noticed til you hit about 800 to 1k rms. but some vehicles lights are sensitive to and voltage drop that is greater then .3 but dimming can be noticed very well with a .5 drop but what else can help is upgrading the amp wire and amp ground might not be sufficent enough for the draw it requires.

That was infact the information I was given in an email from a FI rep.

First of all, don't try and call people out with your "knowledge". Second off, I could not give two shits how long you've been on any forum. Cool story bro, I'm SUPER impressed. Now let's discuss how customer service works. Being in the same build house and being the same company have two things in common. Jack and Shit. The companies are not associated with eachother and being in the same buildhouse means nothing. Educate yourself before you come out swinging.

Haha fi/ssa = same people, same build house... Know what your talking about please. And yes, just look at the forum of people saying things like, been trying to get ahold of someone at ssa/fi and still no response... I've been on this forum 6-7 days a week for a couple years, this isn't my first profile... I've been here since 2009, currently own my 2nd sub which is a 2010 model. But seriously, just look at my name, still love these subs, just wish people would say the only good thing about these companies is their great customer service, their great thing is their products, and that honestly all they have to worry about. Have their subs do their talking.
