3 pointsWho hasn't been the new guy and had feelings of rejection when they start out trying to learn something? I know that I had to learn how to ask questions properly. Part of the problem is that EVERYONE has to agree to the rules. NO ONE actually sticks to them and probably doesn't read them. Maybe you have the opinion that if mods or people with information should ignore misinformed beliefs to spread. I don't know. Your personal offence to actions against people you don't know shows a rare form of empathy. To me, you sound like you are whining. Publicly. And instead of trying to make things better, like the mods you have a problem with, you Pissed in the corner to make a point. You could have quietly asked this in a PM, but you have a point to make. Congratulations. Now you have a couple options, try to make things better, or go away like your post says you wanted to. Those mods you complain about keep this site going, and stop the spread of lies on a daily basis, for free. And they don't make public spectacles of their tempertantrums as you are doing here. I hope you take a few minutes and realize that your post here is building the exact kind of problem you hate. You probably meant well, but all you brought to the table was a complaint, some shitty put downs, and drama. You could have brought something positive to help make a change instead of throwing shit like a Pissed off primate. When your attitude is that you should be a jerk in a public setting I can see that you will probably get along better on another forum.3 points

2 pointsYou don't want to support the best forum around? You not wanting to donate is fine. Not purchasing from the store because of the who make it the best around is a little absurd. It also highlights that you didn't post this to find out about how to stop a deduction from your PayPal account. You started this topic because you had something you wanted to say, and you did. If we are to follow your thinking, you are saying that even though this is the best forum around, you don't want to support it by having a deduction from your PayPal. You also won't buy products supporting the store. Your reasoning for that, is some newbies are offended because they didn't follow the rules and they were spoken to in a manner that you see as harsh. Is that what we are supposed to understand from your comments?2 points

PHATBOi's Sundown X12 Build
1 pointhey nothing wrong with them (budget amps), if you know what you are getting into ahead of time. I'm running a new Precision Power amp, was fairly inexpensive, but then I'm not expecting it to be the next man made marvel, just wanted something that'll get my sub moving a little.1 point

1 pointI want you to also know that I am nearly certain that no one was offended. In fact I bet most people here, even the people you are upset with, still want to help you. You can also know that this is the only forum where you can speak your mind and let out your feelings and not only won't your comments be deleted, but no one will hate you or lash out at you for what you say. What you should realize is that when you post, it is a direct reflection of you. Can you imagine what your words feel like to the people who spend their time here daily, for free, trying to stop misinformation from being spread and help people at the same time? Especially when those people don't take time to read and follow the rules. How you feel is important, but do you think the way you handled it is appropriate, especially when you are providing commentary on others behavior?1 point

1 pointI love this forum because of the mods ! They have great knowledge and are very helpfull. I am on other forums too, but no one is as good as this ssa forum. This is the only forum I agree to pay for. Do what you want, but you need to accept some things, to learn and progress. Have a nice day1 point

1 pointLook it up on the gmt forum. You just use a chevy heavy duty (2500/3500) newer style hood. It changes the appearance, but in a subtle way. I would offer a pic or link but I'm on my mobile & it's a pain in the ass. Once I get the funds I plan to do it to my 99 Suburban.1 point

1 pointThat is great that you want to have that approach to this forum. The majority of new members recognize the same moderator(s) that you speak of. There are moderators on this forum that have a lot of knowledge to share only if it is common sense. I do agree, as does the majority of this forum's members, that there is a moderator that is condescending and after all the babbling is read isn't helpful. In the end if it bothers you that much log out and join a different car audio forum.I love this forum except for all the negative comments by some moderators.Like I said not all newbies understand them. They just get intimidated by them and give up! I DO understand your point, and I really do hate seeing people leave because of it. I know that Sean (I know this is the main person behind your post) really does mean well it is just too much for some people that join and are not aware that he has a lot of information to provide even if it is brutally honest. I have a thick skin but at some point when I was newer around here Sean seemed kind of like a dick to me. I read his sig and gave him the benefit of the doubt. I started trying to view his posts in a different way, and realized that he was not trying to be mean, rather he was trying to help me help myself. I have learned a lot from him, and wish that more "noobs" would give him a chance before abandoning ship and going somewhere else where misinformation runs rampant.I also love this forum because it isn't censored, and any bullshit is usually dealt with promptly, but maybe we can make a point to go a bit easier on new users while still trying to help them. Great post. Totally agree. At one time long ago I felt just like the OP about said mod. Gave it some thought and can totally deal with him.. In fact if I see that he posts somewhere I will read it 100% of the time. If you gotta go then you gotta go, just think about it first.1 point

2012 Chevy Sonic
1 pointSome months later I find some one selling a battery... a XS power D5100... well the person was Grayta lucky we both live close together lol. here is the FUN install of it I did this very day.... The battery it self At this point I am thinking to my self.... FUCK how am I going to get it to work since the posts are on the wrong side.. So this is what I used and here is what I came up with and it works car starts fine and runs good. Just used a aluminum bar cut the negative post to fit and bent it so I could connect it to the car.. no they would not move the wire is very short and I didn't want to cut it because of warrantee on the car. Now for the positive I had to cut 2 pieces bolt them together and bend the second one so it would fit the terminal. Needless to say it took me 3hr to compleat this task and only cost $30.00 in material and tools to do the job.1 point

Sorry I don't know why but I thought the n2 was blown. In a proper enclosure the DD should do well, and you don't have to pay shipping which is a bonus.1 point
