Direct quote from parts express from someone doing an identical job. Great Driver For Image Dynamics BodiesMay 21, 2010SundownAudioNY - 30046 Location:Upstate, NYTechnical Knowledge:AmateurExperience With Product:I own itValue: Performance: Features: Purchased these for use in a car audio application on my Image Dynamics mini horn bodies. These are essentially the same drivers as the Image Dynamics CD Ultra at a fraction of the cost (~$350 with bodies vs $650 for the Image Dynamics Ultras). I am using a pair of the Selenium ADF25-25 (PE # 264-322) horn adapters. They had to be trimmed slightly and holes drilled out for my 2 bolt pattern (there is a template molded into them, you just need to drill them out if you are using anything other then a 3 bolt pattern). Better high end extension then my B&C DE500's at 1/2 the price. Over all great price to performance ratio.
  8. Can't check it on my Blackberry ... I will get to it as soon as I get home.

They do look good.. Makes think about a pair in the escape or put the Xcon in the escape and pair of ethos in the mustang. Either way time to start convincing the better half.
  10. if it's an issue I can change it, but I've been here long enough if it is an issue please let me know .
  11. What are you trying to get welded? I'll do it free of charge for you if you'd like. I've also welded for the military and know my shit.
  12. Yeah my buddy used an old a.c. pump on his b2200 and it worked quite well he just had to rev the engine to get it pumping.

The XCON is one of the best sounding 18's that can get straight up nutty! Now that is just my opinion.
  14. Since your a noob and don't have the Sean to English translation for dummies yet I'll elaborate. Humans can not localize or in other words tell where sub bass comes from in the vehicle. Most subwoofers actually have physical cut offs well over 200 hz. Some over 500.
  15. neither will offer you extrem lows IMO... fuck a DC IMO.. the LVL6 motor is a good motor for SPL.. but they have shitty fucking soft parts.. if you get it you might aswell recone it with FI soft parts.. the BTL is a good price for a good sub... but i can tell you right now the DSS etho will get lower then the BTL.
  16. yeah its a really good price... kinda too good shipped ya know ?
  17. This is the reason why they never put them on the website until the M2s came out. No need to custom build them anymore.. Also, there is a guy on caco running a 9k amp PER Lvl6 without issues. the Lvl6 is BETTER than the Lvl5 and vice versa. It depends on your goals. ~45hz and below, the Lvl6 will dominate. ~45hz and above, the Lvl5 will dominate. This is referencing meter scores. I'd personally get the BTL because of the price but i'd only even think about the Lvl6 if it's an M2 version.
