2 pointsOn one of the most recent threads here the man how designed the unit stated that is is only capable of measuring a couple frequencies. It is not a wide spectrum analyzer. For example it may detect destitution at 500 and 1,000 hertz but nothing below, between, or above.2 points

This is the only thing that will kill a sub. The coil is just a wound up wire it doesn't care what type of power it recieved as long as it does not exceed it's thermal rating it won't break. The only other reason for failure would be the tensil leads breaking which should not be an issue as the parts should work well past the mechanical clearance of the edge. Or the coil is bottoming out and the coil is shorting out on the back plate. But you should be able to hear that.1 pointThanks bro.
