  1. There are two truths here. 1st being. Nobody knows exactly what caused this. 2nd being. No manufacture makes 100% bullet proof equipment. Things like this happen to many end users and with equipment from many manufacturers. This particular time is was you as the user and SSA as the manufacturer. Nothing more than "shit happens"
  2. My friend needed an amp so I posted up a wtb thread for an amp. He posted in it saying he had an arc ks1200 amp for sale. He told me all the info I needed about the amp and linked a link for me to read more. We talked about it and I was ready to buy it for my friend who supposedly had the money, but the deal for his system didn't go through. I told Ryan that he didn't have the money when I told him I would pay. He was polite and said that's fine. Well this kinda happened another time. I apologize. It was my dumbass friend who kept saying he would have the money, but he would never get it. My friend said he would have the money by X day and I pm'ed Ryan asking if the amp was still available and that my friend would have it that day. I'm sure he believed me this time lol Well the day after X I had the money IN MY HAND ready to buy. I sent the money through paypal and he said he would ship it out. He had a problem at work and couldn't ship it out that day. He apologized and said it would be shipped out the next day. He kept his word and shipped it out the next day. Totally fine with me, because I know shit happens. He sent a tracking number as soon as he could. FedEx had some delays with the weather here in the Midwest and the amp took like 2 days longer, but that was ok. His shipping was excellent. He had everything like it came from the manufacturer and then wrapped with a box. He folded the box around the arc audio box which pretty much double boxed it. He taped up the thing really good too. I'm overall extremely happy dealing with Ryan throughout this whole buy. It made things very easy for me and his patience for me was a plus If Ryan has anything for sale don't worry AT ALL about the buy, because he's a good honest guy.

I got a few PM's from people asking how I am doing since I came back doing fine now , I have 5 stints between the right kidney and the ureter and I have gained 50 pounds...back up over a healthy 200 it's actually weird to not feel sick anymore....I'm digging it just waiting for the weather to warm up a bit and I'll be starting back up with some projects for locals on my evenings and weekends just so everyone knows I have no interest in selling designs but I may ship an enclosure or two IF the customer takes care of all the shipping BS from their end...later in the year after I complete the local stuff I have lined up
  4. From what I have found so far looks like 3.5 cu ft for sealed. Which works out great as its only 18.55" cube enclosure. Anyone have input on that? Yes 3-4 cubic feet sealed
  5. I already have a 15" Dcon in a ported enclosure and am very impressed with the tonality and efficiency. Is tuned to 35hz with 82 sq in of port. The Dcon I bought from you Sean (W140) in fact. I had heard rumor of a newer version that is geared more towards sealed? The store does not give any recommended enclosures for the 15"? Anyone that knows off hand? The biggest caveat is enclosure size, must be small, so will model if needed.
  6. Looks like I am ordering a 15" Dcon today. The last Dcon I built her is in a ported enclosure that was to big, SO It lives happily in my buddy Marks Jeep. I had traded out with him my MTX which is the one she welded solid. SO anywho I will build a sealed enclosure this time around so size wont be an issue for her. Some will tell you the DCON sucks in a sealed box. I have two 10's and had them ported in the 4runner and now have them sealed in the Camry. I like they sound in either box and sealed those little guys can pound hard enough to suprise people.
  7. Its the Barry Bonds Kush strain. J Is the Snow Diesel! Nugs bigger than my head.
  8. Yes it would but staging and imaging are hardly at the top of the priority list when running that large of a sub stage. I mean is it really a concern? Focusing on making it listenable at those decibel levels would be the main concern from everything I've read and understand. That's where the difficulty really lies and why these guys kinda laugh out loud at people when they say they want a front stage to keep up with ~150dB+ for $200. I tend to stay out of these threads because I have a hard time understanding why it has to be the front stage keeping up with the subs instead of the other way around. If the budget, time, knowledge or any combination of the three or other factors keep a person from building it that way then why not just build what one can within their given restraints and turn the sub down to match. When you go to show it off or demo a sub stage like that for someone the last thing that's typically on their minds is the front stages ability to keep up. But they might very well make note of it sounding like crap which is why I've worried much more about how it sounds in recent years than how loud it gets. Sorry, I'm done rambling now.
  9. Impious... Always there to lay it out so it makes sense...
  10. Hey thanks a lot man. A lot of the stuff has just been a gathering of almost three years now. This vehicle started off with an Icon and aq1200 haha.

goal is by the end of the year for the holiday season along with 18's
  12. Your question doesn't make sense. If a voice coil is wired into a circuit then it's part of the circuit--there isn't any alternate route. Or am I misreading your question?
  13. Not quite, still held by Chris Hansford i believe. lol He had like a gazillion banks for his park and pound run. He strapped like 10 banks to each back seat plus what he already had in the back! I think ShiZZzon might have gotten a pic at world finals. this is the guy you talked about on the first page of the thread? Shizzzon said 16 banks.... Far from the most used. Hell the guy I bought most of these from still has a larger bank than this, after selling a bunch. The thing about cap banks is they are so light. You see guys at finals rigging up all their buddies and teammates banks into their cars for a run. It's hard to tell who actually owns what.
  14. superbowl fuck yeah!
  15. This all makes me think of the post below where I asked about a few things and didn't hear an answer to any technical specs. I did eventually blow my Sp4 as well and got the same run around as all the previous users about having Korean made amplifiers. Someone basically stated that with Korean amps it doesn't matter and that it is simply a matter of time before you blow the leads if applying rated power to the subs. I've read all the posts on how subs are stupid any only do what you tell them which to some extent is true. However, what happened to the correct statement "It's only good as its weakest part" in this case? http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/58823-fi-sp4-on-fire-warranty/page-13 I've ran the same power on a prototype Obsidian 15" rated much lower with no issues whatsoever. Sure, the enclosure plays a big role in the overall "how stupid the sub is" theory, but according to previous statements of how crappy my amps are I should be making my DUAL leads glow and burst in to flames already so to hell with whatever I know about car audio. I shall just continue to install, blow, reinstall, in order to get louder and reach the goals I keep setting for myself. The best way to learn is by your own mistakes instead of the mistakes of others IMO.
  16. But twins are better....
  17. In no way you can compare my amp to an ap3kYou should spend more time thinking about my second statement than getting butthurt assuming im comparing your amp to an ap3k. once again DIRTY POWER DOES BAD THINGS.
  18. TrueNutrition.com, why must you tempt me with your cheap wares?!?!
  19. You boys are tough on equipment, LOL Man as much as you demo and beat on that sub it doesnt suprise me much. Playing a entire song at full tilt with alot of power is hell on anything, especially after doing that daily for a year solid. Imagine running that Chaos class or whatever Julian use to do with those 3 minute averages on music. You have essentially done that over and over daily just riding around... hahaha Dont you have a video of you playing full tilt for like 5 minutes straight?
  20. maybe ill be able to take a listen in the future. Good luck with the move to Dallas man.
  21. Lmao!!! I wish I was able to be less responsible with my money. Smh! Make sure to pm me the photos yes lolDid you think about getting two DSS Ethos 15"? More cone area is a plus and it would be a nice change to what you currently have. I am checking your photobucket daily
