Wait till you see the production model this fall. It contains a few components and tech never used in a transducer.
  2. Interestingly he still has the "SSA Store Valued Customer" banner under his username.....LOL Kudos to you Aaron for delivering top notch customer service once again. It's unfortunate that despite your best efforts you still have to deal with bullshit like this from customers.
  3. Sounds good too as I got me a little demo today. I was impressed
  4. Some people know how to set the gain correctly and some obviously do not
  5. This is the only one and the only one ever built. This driver cost me $390 to build. It's a steal at $400. If the buyer needed recones it wouldn't be a problem.
  6. Like I say man, it WANTS a smaller box! haha just grab a 15" box with an 18" hole. May need a little bit more port, but it'll be fine.
  7. Yes that is correct, they OEM for SSA but they are not the same company.
  8. This makes me wanna make a video of my current T1 in it's current enclosure before I swap out both for my Fi BL and it's Fatbox USA enclosure. So I can have a comparison video when my new setup is complete! ..Here is the new home for my Fi BL that's on it's way some day soon
  9. ^^^ I AGREE VERY HARD TO READ.I thought I was bad.
  10. ^^there ya go! Thanks Neal I'm on mobile and didn't have it
  11. Honestly you should be able to reach them perfectly through e-mail contact. Aaron usually answered pretty quick [email protected]

  13. If you're in a hurry for your build, go get some wire locally. I live in another country, and all I can say is that I love to buy from the ssa store. I trust them 100%. This guy must be a young Canadian boy. First time buying online or what ?!!! I thought Canadians were cool guys !!!
  14. Two different companies however
  15. Welcome to SSA.!!!! The zcon is an amazing sub. I love mine. Let me work some numbers and see what you have allowed for space. Also what kind of power for this sub will you be using?
  16. Just don't try this with a synthetic cork
  17. ^^^This exactly. Give us some history on the setups you've had in the past. For all we know "loud" to you is a pair of 12" Pyle Red Labels in a cheap prefab bandpass enclosure in which case we would know that you have no idea what "loud" is. Or perhaps your last setup consisted of four Sundown SA-15's in a wall with 3500 watts on tap in which case you should definitely have an idea of what "loud" really is. That and everyone has a personal preference as well. While I enjoy listening and playing with big hair moving setups I find the two 12" Q's in my van to be more than adequately loud for me and we rarely have the remote level control above 1/3 of the way up. Your preference may be more like the hair moving, vision skewing, teeth rattling, breath inhibiting type of loud or at least that may be your goal. Clear definitions of what you want and what your trying to do would be most helpful. As was mentioned by stephen if you REALLY want to go as high as 5500 watts $1100 will hardly even cover a new 5500 watt amp let alone all the electrical upgrades that are required to make it operate without shutdown and output issues from voltage drop at best, going up in smoke at worst. Systems this large and powerful take a great deal of planning and support over just buying a bunch of equipment and throwing it in together.
  18. Fairly sure they have wardens in that Challenger, But I could be wrong. Hopefully Ill get a chance to run some Incriminator gear in the next few years, have to finish this build first though (Which is actually Fi and Crescendo) Very nice! Were you up at SBN too? did you compete? I was not at SBN, hopefully next year! Its a long road trip from AK. I only know that challenger cause I keep up with most of the large builds that I can, on forums, and youtube.
  19. The new leads have studs with a nut instead of a push terminal, so it'd be pretty obvious it was different from the old style. Also I have never had any issues with my sp4s, even running 4k to one for over 6 months. So I still think its user error no matter what people claim.
  20. Yeah the Challenger has Wardens in a wall, with B&C 8''s in the front doors. Guys name is TheJesus on floridaspl.com if you want to check out more of his build.
  21. What a horrible thing to say after Aaron had the best business ethics and correspondence with you. SSA is the BOMB!!! No one can beat em' TRUST THIS! This thread will not affect anyones decision to stay loyal to this Awesome company or change their decision to shop here!
  22. Some customers aren't worth having at the end of the day. If not having your wire upset you then that's just petty. Tell them no thanks on the other wire and ask for a refund simple as that, no need to make a thread showing your ignorance.
  23. I didn't neg you and could care less about that rep system crap, but I clicked positive to even things out so you can feel better and enjoy your day. You got a simple answer to a simple question, so don't go crying about it. And I asked a simple question back, why does it matter where things are made? People all in their feeling these days, sheesh.
  24. Obviously has no idea how a business works. SSA is hands down the best business I have dealt with. They will do everything they can to please you.
  25. Shit happens. This is what any other retailer would do. They are offering what they have available to attempt to please you. Worst ever is one hell of a stretch.
  26. 1 point
You kinda sound like the Alpine Type R kinda guy. Just buy the component set for front and coaxials for rear. This will sound like heaven compared to what your looking at. And they are cheap. Lol
  27. couple pics frogcase2002 just text me of a box he is building for 2 12 S.A. just thought I would share
  28. Please refrain from post dumping in others for sale thread. If you don't like the price, keep it to yourself. Good luck with sale OP those are some great amplifiers My apologies. Thought I was simply making funnies. Won't happen again.
  29. oh you got your self some FI flame logs huh ?
  30. So you know that for fact?
  31. Saying 95% of Fi speakers catching fire is due to user error is a pretty bold statement sir.
  32. found a leak in the tank, along with 2 others but all good now. the door pods look like shit atm. I had to throw them in to get ready for a comp next week and this will give me an idea on how they work out before i get too into it. will be a lot more "prettying" up after the comp in a week. Just trying to get where I can get points and atm I have no garage and the rain is killing me.
