  1. Geez, I want to order something just to give you some hope that there is some semi normal customers out there. Now if I had some extra money laying around or time to work on an install.
  2. The problem with people like this is they get so caught up in trying to be right or prove someone else wrong that they can't take a step back from it all and CHECK THEMSELVES and say hmm...maybe I am in the wrong here, let alone admit it.
  3. You've need told a lot of stuff. google Ohm's law and then look up the discharge rate of a 9 volt battery.
  4. when did you order it? Early Feb. Lol damn I hope I dont have to wait that long. Probably not. It probably got forgot or something. Don't know if iv even had a sub take this long Nothing was forgotten, they are just flat out slammed and working 16-17 hour days to get caught up. have you guys ever considered adding a couple more build houses for times like this? or maybe stocking up and prebuilding some subs before busy season? or maybe offer where you buy all the parts and assemble the sub yourself? lol idk just a thought Because our speakers are made to order in the USA, in one location with a pair of engineers that are some of the very best period, we keep our manufacturing with them. The issue is, the constantly rising costs of materials and rising costs of building in the USA, the money is not there to grow a larger build house, and the profit is not there, not to mention the undertaking to even attempt that. What that means, is there is more demand than man power, and less profit than man power to keep up with demand. So there is no way, in the current situation, unless we raise prices to where they should be in the first place, that we could be stocking or pre-building. People want top end, premium American made subwoofers for near Chinese made prices. So something has to give. Lastly, we are not going to have an assemble yourself subwoofer, new, with the SSA logo on it. That would be untold amounts of issues for even less profit. I appreciate the input, but unless people are suddenly willing to pay for what SSA subwoofers are really worth, we do not have the option to have a large stock or expand the build house. In simple terms: "Fast, Great, Cheap, pick two." yeah I was just throwin ideas around.. wasnt tryin to start a battle or anything.. I dont ever see people posting bitching about price.. what I do see is people bitching about waiting so long for something that cost so much usually... ive tried to get a few people I know to order some zcons or evils and they usually say I would but I cant wait that long lol.. then they will turn around and pay retail for something stupid like L7s or some fosgate power series. There is the perfect example. People want Fast, Great, and Cheap. People do complain about the price enough that I can see, too often they say they won't buy SSA because they think it is over priced because they can just order something else that is FAR FAR cheaper to build that they mistakenly think is on the same level.

  7. I am opening this topic back up, and posting in it again, to show the unreal depths we go when it comes to customer service even when we made nothing from it. After the record shattering amount of emails and FB messages that burned endless (and now wasted) hours, that were accompanied by numerous non-sensical voicemails on our main office phone (all the while knowing Mark was not there to answer it due to being on the road for SBN), followed by a totally unwarranted Paypal claim, which was instantly followed by an absolutely off the reservation BBB claim, I just got off the phone with the Maryland Attorney General's office. The woman handling the claim there, had received a truck load of convoluted and again, non-sensical faxes in regards to this one order. She was so happy to talk to me and glad that she didn't have to deal with this customer, along with happy we are many states apart for worry as to the capacity of what this person might try to pull. Wishing me the best and that we never have to deal with someone like this again. So at this point, with the paypal charge back, the whole ordeal is done in the eyes of the BBB and the State of Maryland. What a tremendous waste of time and stress. Sadly, I don't think he is done as he is acting as if we had done him some tragic wrong doing to go so out of control like this. Back to taking care of our normal customers.
  8. figured as much but also figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. it's built with the high qts. had a few other people say that that shouldnt affect their ability in a ported box. but I dont like to experiment and "see what happens" with expensive equipment lol Don't listen to those people.
  9. lolYea its forreal crazy how long it took lolfrom what I hear its worth the wait
  10. Finally got my basket!
  11. Playing on just 3 subs! Cant wait to see what 4 will do...
  12. Btw guys, my girl bought this for me. She loves bass and wants this to be our show truck. I found my wife lol
  13. I am closing this topic, as I am done dealing with the insane amount of effort (and stress) that has gone into this one order. The BBB claim has been addressed, the paypal charge back has already yanked the money from our account. Neal said it best, it is not worth it anymore and not worth risking such a nice SSA sub in this customers hands.
  14. And for the 1 millionth time STOP focusing on equipment and focus on your install. It is 1000% of the problem/cure and you ignore it.
  15. You have ZERO comprehension of what that means. Your posts are so confused I am almost convinced you are just trolling...if I hadn't driven by your shop and seen your truck I'd be sure of it.
