  1. That info can be posted in an open forum section.
  2. And here I was running 10k/4 subs wondering if it'd be too much lol. I haven't received any tracking or anything, but I'd imagine I'm in this 2nd week of May thing? Yes you are in the 2nd week of may thing. It'll be about two weeks quicker than the build house lead time. Also tracking will not be issued until the drivers are built and packaged. This way customers don't wait in wonder when their order will arrive. When you receive a tracking number it'll ship by the next business day.
  3. Totally install dependent.
  4. I wouldn't call it a debate. Someone is just not understanding Physics. I actually don't even comprehend the misconception. Claiming subwoofers don't move air is teh crazy.
  5. Looks like its time to make this truck louder . The 15, and BC2000 will be for sale. I am walling the truck, big numbers and door open hair tricks will ensue, lol
  6. Air/Wind=air molecules moving Air/Propagation=air molecules moving Air/Vibration=air molecules moving Is this debate about if a subwoofer or a leaf blower can move air? Or where they are moving the air to? If you don't believe a subwoofer makes an air molecule move in one way or another...
  7. Yes you did, said they don't move...and do again, right below here. Which is it? How does this leaf blower create wind? And what is wind? To make a more clear analogy, does an air pump move air? I'd hope you say yes to this, now think about the diaphragm in an air pump. How is that different than a subwoofer? Do you claim there is a difference between water and air? If you move your hand in the water doesn't the water move? The same can be said for air. If you grab an Asian hand fan and move it through the air, the air moves doesn't it? How is this different than a subwoofer such that the sub doesn't move air? I am also curious how you think the smell moves? Smell is air is it not? By definition then if it travels isn't the air also traveling?
  8. It's definitely not a rule of thumb. The best calculator for port area was put up and made by a member on here, however I won't use the site anymore as it has numerous warnings from Chrome and my Anti-Virus/Malware/Spyware scanners telling me the site is a problem. The one on Carstereo.com is better than nothing or if you're not shy about doing some math the actual T/S formulas are out there. I tried doing a search and couldn't find anything but simple calculators, not nearly as accurate at the one that I can't use anymore, lol. EDIT: Found the actual formula's HERE. The formula's calculate minimum diameter in centimeters. A little more math and you can convert it to inches, then figure the cross sectional area to know what size the slot needs to be. Again, got to not be shy about the math, lol.

Great seller, great with shipping. I was out of town and asked him to wait to ship so that I was home. NO problems with this at all. Great Seller.
  10. Randal to clarify this is the first time you've EVER stated you were sponsored by Blues on this forum. You instead chose to complain about $$ instead. If you have to run something you have to run it. And Rick actually followed. I didn't say make a 4 cyl fast, I was referring to as he says to yank a V8 and replace it with a 4. If you go reread you'll see that taking things in context helps. As of course would the quotes you are misrepresenting of mine. I surely said nothing in car audio will impress me, but what you left out was that I was comparing it to home audio.
  11. "What he is doing is akin to someone coming on a Mustang forum and transplating a 4cyl to try and make it faster." Mustangs come in v6 and v8, so why would someone swap it for a 4 cylinder? Sean is saying that if this happened to be a mustang forum and someone started a thread "4 cyl swap" with the idea of making his car faster he would get told that it was a stupid idea. This is an audio forum.....see the analogy?
  12. Umm, I didn't bring this up in his thread. He took a post in a discussion outside of this thread and chose to quote it in here so I responded. For some reason he likes the drama. Amusingly he finally shared his real problem there as well. He is sponsored and cannot choose different drivers. Explains why he would use something so misplaced for the install. In his other thread and this one that teeny bit of information could have changed a bunch of things. As for picking on his setups. This is an audio forum. What he is doing is akin to someone coming on a Mustang forum and transplating a 4cyl to try and make it faster. Utilizing the wrong motor for the goals at hand is silly. Same can be said about drivers. It'd be rather rude to not offer to help someone who is posting on a forum that specializes in the task at hand. Of course to keep the analogy true, if that person on the Mustang forum was offered a ridiculous 4cyl engine for free that made similar power to an 8 but at next to no cost for the OP it could be a reasonable solution. Still strange, but financially reasonable. If that poster didn't share that as a parameter though everyone would consider it stupid since for all non-financial reasons it would be.
  13. I'm not here to bash any company. I was just making a statement.

Hell, 4 weeks is a breeze compared to most other companies. I think i waited like 4 to 6 months from another company. I've waited far far longer, just to get the wrong equipment. I was less that than pleased. My Ethos came quick. I was not in a hurry, obviously.
  15. And here I was running 10k/4 subs wondering if it'd be too much lol. I haven't received any tracking or anything, but I'd imagine I'm in this 2nd week of May thing? be patient my friend. Worth the wait. And if you order more, there will not be a wait.
