  1. What twelves did he trade? The BTL is a monster =] Try an eight inch aero tuned to 28hz
  2. Not really. Especially for comparison reasons. The RMS rating is simply a thermal rating of how much power the voice coil can dissipate before thermal breakdown, that is it. The only time it is remotely meaningful is in the modeling process to ensure you don't design a enclosure that is so inefficient that you reach the thermal barriers of the driver before you can reach full linear excursion within your usable pass-band. It also has absolutely nothing to do with "how loud" a subwoofer will get under ANY circumstances. Of all the T/S parameters, it is one of the least important when choosing a driver...
  3. the color of the basket............. is the reason why the Funky Pup's would give the listener a concussion ripping out the speed drums and knock out peoples teeth as you drive by , I heard that they could actually wobble the earth on it's axis it's the reason why they are no longer in production...........
  4. No, I want to see this.
  5. The RMS rating of the subwoofer has absolutely nothing to do with output capability or power requirement. At all... Using the RMS rating to compare drivers is as important as the color of the basket...
  6. And I am still on the fence about the paint job. I've spent over 10 K and over a year working on the car. Would hate to half ass the paint job. One other big factor is the car is solely a gift to my wife. My name is not even on the tittle. As it was her grandma's car, and her grandma was the most important person to her growing up. Long story, but grandma was the only stable one in her life. My wife still cries almost every time she drives the car.
  7. And in another stupid stroke of luck, I found the rear Addco sway-bar for sale. It's been backordered for quite some time new but I managed to find a NIB one on a forum add which was almost a year old. Bilstein 4600's also coming up at the same time as the Addco. 5100's are valved too hard for stock weight. upgrades
  8. Communist or anarchist. I like extremes.
  9. I am chomping at the bit to get started on the interior. At this point though is more productive to do the paint before I get to far. A test fit of the new back seat and side panels. Need to rebuild the door hindges and window regulators before anything.
