Got the old(ish) hairpin alts out and sold, .... got the bracket off. Took to work, .... just some lunch, and a 6 pack of shock top for a lil help. Troublesome bolt hole chamfered, and TIG welded. No more clearance issue with a pan head here. And the motor mount ear tab that snapped off because of the 2 tac welds they kinda put on there. And, the man text me around noon. This, is with the larger 1.9 pulley at low rpms (what we need for the long runs, not being able to be in the car. We have a throttle cable, but we adjust to 2k, and drop to 900 or so with in a few seconds. These will do some work ) Yes sir. we happy, they will be over nighted tomorrow...... see ya wensday.

I have a little specific gravity tester. If it is effective for the temp I need and not dirty fuck it. If it isn't it gets "flushed". Quotes are because I don't use the mechanic term but a logical one. Pull the last return hose from the system so it goes down the drain, add a water source to the input so that it doesn't run dry. Run the engine until you have only water coming through. Need to make sure you have removed or bypassed your thermostat though so it actually flows. Also the technique I used to change from dexuncool to real antifreeze. No orange bullshit in my car.

Measure your coolant. If it tests fine and isn't contaminated I see no reason in changing it. If either of the other two conditions exist I'd change it completely.

Seriously found EVERYthing chronic that is wrong with me including a few things I didn't know. For instance a recent change in my body causing me to be allergic to mold. Amazing how much better I felt after treatment and am curious to see how I respond to the medication.

Speaking of human oddities. I went to a homeopathic doctor in Germany. Only not just a witch doctor, but one who used a machine to measure balance. Then tested old "medicines" to see which would work. Magically she found all of the things I would have complained about including fixes for them. Pretty sure if I could find someone locally with a MORA machine like that Matt most of your ails would go away.
