  1. Had a few friends over today. Their little 6 month old loved the camera. Got a few good ones of everyone today.
  2. Wild as hell man! Can't wait for more pics & a video!
  3. Good cause I'm no expert, nor would I waste my time, and money on some rebranded junk to peddle online. But technically I could if I felt the need. I prefer to stay out of industries full of liars, thieves, and scum bags.
  4. I will make an official announcement when production is near done, so please hold off on the flood of questions until then. Attached is a photo of the prototypes (MEANING THEY ARE HOUSE SAMPLE MATERIAL AND NOT THE PRODUCTION COLORS, THINK CAR PROTOTYPES WITH WEIRD PAINT JOBS) I have been testing with our custom heat sink. Loads of surface area so heat is not an issue under normal loads. Starting out with a VERY sturdy mono block and strong 4 channel.
  5. well, had a great year... but theres so much to gain still with this thing... heres some pics and vids from world finals. won the SB4 World Championship... As a 22 year old this is a HUGE accomplishment for me, i never thought i would win a world championship as a builder, especially this early in my career. truly an awesome feat for me.
  6. deadener n wood ftw **** resting voltage after chillin for a month lol DOORS, done by my dude Jerod. front trim panel underway
  7. Here we are peoples. The build some of you are waiting for.................. This will be a three phase style build. I will be competing Street Stock at first, then I will switch up to SS NW, the SS 3-4 for the DBdrag sanction. We have here a 2003 Yukon XL that has been Deemed(by me) the SSA YUKONVICT. ^^^^^^^^^ LAST SEASON New Season - New Truck Gotta get them Stock boys off there Much better but needs new tires Those are for the Winter Stock tires the Deuces will get them over winter for summer Much better than Stock radio with the tape player Holy intake Batman Gotta have the Juice! But what about the Alternator to charge it That needs to be cleaned up but thats enough for now lets go have fun!
  8. Ok, so I am the type of person than can not wait. So with some stuff I had just laying around I threw together a temp system. 2 icon18" in 12 cubes tuned to 28hz behind 3rd row. American Bass 500.1 wired at 1 ohm 1 xp3000 and a Singer 350amp Alt! 2runs of 4/0 1 power 1 ground.
  9. Hell ya david u know im tuned in..curious to know why u didnt do zcons either? i already had the 18's layin around lol it will be Zcons down the road or it might just get cwalled with more ICONS!
  10. Some 4play and the 3some
  11. A little bit of FOURPLAY! And then the THREESOME!
  12. Ok Well the guys i sold my van to can no longer afford the payments that were agreed upon so it was time to take back what was mine! With that being said this will no longer even see the street stock class. Right to SS NW I will be running 3 300 amp Singer alternators. Sub Stage will be 4 18" icons Amps unknown but may just keep my soundstream 4 channel and 2 channel. as for the mono im still in the air. Door speakers i have no idea as of yet!
  13. Thought you were taking your time with this build? haha Right lol one more month with about bass is going to drive me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. ive had no problems with the battery so far. I also check the temp on it peroidically to see if it feels to hot. I need something quick and for the price I got it for I can beat it. I plan on running several in the long run which if you ever followed my builds theres no such thing as long run. lol
  15. Sorry for not having any new pics..... About an hour into working, I bashed the top of my head on a shelf in my shed. I gave myself a nice little gash that as all head woulds do, bled like crazy. No stitches for this one though it isn't very deep...(according to the ole' lady) I felt like such a total idiot! I need a stupid helmet, I always hit my head on stuff. LOL Today is a total washout... Raining buckets here so, I'm going to sand the port and get it ready for the finish coat of paint. And yes, I plan on attending both days of the show. I'll get my new windshield installed next week so there's no doubt the seal will be set up and solid by Slamology!
  16. My family used to own a cottage on Walloon Lake, but that was 20 years ago. (wow now I feel old....LOL) I've been meaning to take a trip up to fish Lake Erie but every time I plan it some weird crap always happens so I can't go... There's a thread for Slamology with links and stuff already on the forum, Slamology.....Central Indiana - SSA Car Audio Forum Hope to see ya there man! A few members from here are going as well. Adam Turner! WoW, What cave have you been hiding in???? Long time no here man! (call me this weekend!) Well let's go get this dang thing done and see what it looks like inside the truck! Fresh pics again tonight too....
  17. I won't be hard to miss... My Ranger is Solid Sonic Blue, it sticks out like a sore thumb! LOL
  18. Sweet! I'm going to be there Saturday and Sunday as long as I fair well at the comp. Mainly I want to see what they do on the meter with this design.
  19. MI....I haven't been up there since I was a kid. LOL Thank you for the compliments!!! Well, I have one more freaking panel to cut and it's too dark to see out here so........ HERE'S SOME PICS!!! (only 4 of them sorry..) Tomorrow she slides back into the Ranger for a final test fit !!!!! Carpet may have to be a later on kinda thing. I still have the amp rack to fab up, plus a few other details that are more important before I compete at Slamology 2010.
  20. Thanks a lot for the comments guys! The main construction should be done today as long as it doesn't start to sprinkle on me. The angles really mess with your head when you're getting ready to cut. One wrong measurement or cut and the piece is junk....LOL Man I want to hear this so freakin' bad but, I don't want to rush it and have a poor construction error turn into an install nightmare... More pics tonight!!!!!!
  21. Well, I managed to squeeze in some work between rain storms the past couple days. Here's the shelf that will hold the secondary battery in the rear. Trevor don't laugh at my welds.....I just started to learn how 2 weeks ago....LOL Here's the tracks that will hold the hood to the enclosure. Time to carve out the sides and see how they fit. They're on a 12-1/2 degree bevel to fit the window taper. And.........guess what this is for! (It should be obvious.....LOL) I'll keep my eye on the sky for a chance drag out the gear and try to finish this dang thing.
  22. And hopefully on this one there will be no flex at all from the back end or the truck cap. Well I'm off to get a few hours in before it gets dark here.
  23. I'll be pluggin' away at this all weekend long! I just picked up paint, some bolts, and another sheet of MDF for the "hood". Hopefully she'll burp her first note this weekend! I'm not sure on the carpet yet........ I may wait till after Slamology to wrap the enclosure, I still have a ton of little things to do, at least I already have most of the wiring ran from the last install. If I get it up and running I promise pics and a short video demo.
  24. Test fit teaser pics!
  25. Just a bunch of sanding and prep work for painting the port. (too boring for pics) It's in primer now and I'm going for a test fit here in a few minutes. Providing I can locate an extra set of hands to help lift this beast! Also today I welded up a plate to set the secondary battery on. It's going where the bigger "notch out" is on the rear of the enclosure. (last picture shown above) While it's in there I'm taking final measurements for the "hood" that will go on top.
  26. Thank you! I use a circular saw, 2 drills, router, and 2 sanders. As for how it'll fit in the rear of the truck, it's simple I took measurements and planned this build since Christmas! LOL It's 52" wide which give me 1/8" on each side for the cap clamps to clear. The "hood" part is going to be real tricky... It's going in after the enclosure gets shoved into the bed. My buddy James and I were thinking and measuring at the tailgate, we think the enclosure will be able to slide right in without having to take the cap off like I needed to when I put my last one in. I can lift this by myself, barely......LOL I just need some help so I don't bash the hell out of everything when I put it in. It's way too humid and windy to primer the port today, so I'm off to go sand some screw holes! (weeeeeeeeeeeeee!)
  27. Almost done with the main enclosure. Just some details left on this. I spent a good solid 2 hours so far sanding the flares till they're smooth as silk, ready for some primer!
  28. Oh, we have rocks too! Harrison is one giant gravel pit with 3 rivers flowing into the Ohio. There's Dandelions all over the yard too! LOL My kids always pick em' before they bloom. (Hillbilly weed control! LOL)
  29. Oh yeah I have about 6 people for sure who want to hear THIS enclosure when it's done. The last one I had to remove my truck cap and drop the box in....LOL I'm wondering if it might, just might, slide right in there.... The hood, (for lack of better words) will really set it off and reflect the sound waves into the front instead of wasting it through the rear cap.
  30. Well I chopped out a few panels and played with some F/G resin...... I turn my back for a few minutes and......... Here's my son who thought it looked kinda like a race car... Now I feel like this freaking rain is trying to make things personal! As I was cleaning up a wind started brewing. I walk around the back side of the lot to see this coming! It should be constructed for the most part tomorrow! (Providing the rain really isn't stalking me!...LOL)
  31. Thanks for the feedback! Today is bright and sunny so I'll have more pics up tonight of the progress. The enclosure part is almost done. I just snagged a gallon of F/G resin from HomeDepot so now I can fill the flares to make them tough as nails! LOL
  32. actually I think it's so green from all this rain! My yard is a swamp! LOL
  33. Soooooo much potential
  34. Ruh ro! Shit just got interesting!
