  1. Nah i thought you were up to your shenanigans again. Trying to make it look like M5 said that. I was just saying he doesn't post like the majority of us. Never really see him use words like gonna or misspell things. He's usually on point with punctuation as well.
  2. Decided to buy a W201 chassis Mercedes Benz, it was cheap and in nice condition so I had to do it. What is wrong with another car, right? The day I bought it, did not like the wheels at all. They are from a mid 2000's E class. Check out that interior color: I found some stock pie plate wheels and put some new tires on for the winter: Previous owner did ruin the dash: Previous owner added some bass, these are two spare tire woofers from a mid 2000s Mazda: That is it for now, kicks have been sent off to get done because the car does not have any room for speakers up front stock besides 4" in the top of the dash. I will be using SSA Evil 8 ohm mids with Aurasound 3" Full Rangers. I also have a 12" Dcon laying around that I will be using for woofer duty. Amps are still up in the air but I have been trying to convince someone to sell me his old RF Punch Amplifiers. Source is an Alpine 7894, an older deck with built in DSP.
  3. Nothing new yet. Just working on the 4runner. Painted the calipers and rotors.
  4. Sony has the same needs as others for what works. 50mm 1.4 for interior, low light and generally most of your pictures 70-200 2.8 for long range and low light shots where you need speed 16-50 2.8 for "walk around". Jack of all trades and master of none. Wide enough to stop out to f11 and shoot landscapes and narrow enough to almost do portraits at 50mm 2.8, but not ideal for either. Due to this I personally use an 11-16 2.8 Tokina for landscape and the 50mm for everything else. When being artistic I sometimes carry the 17-55...but I hate it. Much prefer primes.
  5. Turn the speaker and you have to change the crossover. They are both the job of the installer to maximize. ...it is whole btw
  6. You have been able to get away with a lot over the past few months. This is not tolerated here. Come back in a week and hopefully contribute to the forum instead of incessantly arguing against everything Sean says.
  7. You suck at the internet too I see.
  8. Ignorance is bliss. You should be a happy guy.
  9. Rofl. I'd like to see him do an install without crossovers. Funny coming from the guy who has monstrous difficulties with box design 101.
  10. So crossovers aren't part of the install? You don't need to follow the "pack" here at SSA, you need to stop arguing with everything that Sean posts. Every time you argue you do not post valid points in opposition to his. I have learned a lot from Sean, as well others over the many years I have been on this forum. I will continue to do so, you many want to start.
  11. Yes really, please keep your closed-mindedness out of this thread.
  12. Finally, after being two years past my upgrade (meaning having the same phone for 4), finally got the V20. Haven't really messed with it yet.
  13. It was designing being discussed not building. Sad thing is if you would just bother to learn to design an enclosure and speaker once you would change about 90% of what you type. Some very simple concepts elude you or you just make it seem so since you don't like me. Comprehend the louderspeaker design cookbook just a wee bit and you will have a really empty feeling in your gut.
  14. Not really. Why does everyone keep saying install is everything?
