What’s up everyone. Picked up a pair when they were released. And finally got around to installing them.

My box is firing forward. Sealed off from the trunk. It’s a rather large box and kinda awkward to maneuver by myself. I I had to mount the subs after I get the box in. Imthat right there is no fun task. It’s heavy, awkward and just such a bad angle to maneuver it In.

I wanna hear it

Forsure will get alot louder . Every time iv got a new ssa sub its takin a little time to get louder and louder. Especially on the lows

Fit isn't a problem. I've modified all mine a bit to make sure the playability is where it should be. Setup is critical. Just need a different guitar for each purpose. Sort of like tools, fishing rods, golf clubs, audio drivers, etc.

So o got it fired up and did a quick test bump. Gains are turned up just a quarter, it hits that’s for sure. But idk exactly how I’m liking it. I’m not exactly blown away like I was with the evils, but then again. The amp is turned up as much as I’d really like. And I couldn’t really test it to see what works, ie windows down, one down all up , etc. because my neighbors were home. So it’s not much of a fair comparison. I also wanna give it some time to warm up. Seeing how stiff it is and the fact that I’ll b overpowering them. So after a few days. I’ll turn the gain up a bit.

It’s coated with dura Tex and stained with keda wood dye. This is the same box I had my evils in prior so I figured the teams should be right at home in here as well.

I've had an old Ibanez bass for nearly 20 years. Quality isn't good enough to claim I own it...but after some tinkering I have it setup so the action is good and it is super playable. Add some good pickups and it would be an over performer, but still lackluster. I picked up a Taylor 814ce and a Takamine for the boys. Probably going to shop for a Les Paul or the like here fairly soon as I'd like a locked tremelo. Wish I would have bought my Jackson that way actually.
