  1. You won't be disappointed.
  2. Had a good transaction with bcst86. He bought my old setup. Excellent communication and quick payment. Would definitely do business with him again.
  3. That'll buff out.
  4. Welcome, but the Missouri side? Ewwww.
  5. If a sealed 12" could fit, how about a ported 10"? According to SSA's specs, optimal sealed for the 12" is 1.20 cubic feet, but you could go as small as 1.0 cubic feet ported for the 10". Not sure how big the box would be after all displacements, but I can say from first hand experience that a single ported 10" Dcon on 300 watts is simply amazing. The only reason I got rid of mine was that I wanted to try something different. Edit: LOL, you ninja'd my response.
  6. I was wanting to order an SSA hat and shirt to wear on vacation. The hat is to keep me from burning my head, because I end up doing it every year. You think I'd learn. Anyway, I looked on the site and didn't see anywhere that gave an estimated shipping time. About how long would it take to ship them? We're leaving on the 21st and I don't want to order them and not get them in time (although I would wear them in the future).
  7. Videos or it never happened. Hell, for that price I'm tempted to try like 6 or 8 of them.
  8. Thanks for the link. I want to be sure of how much space I'm going to be taking up before buying, as I'm on a pretty tight budget for this project.
  9. The main thing I'm concerned with is building the wrong size box and damaging the subs. I want to keep the box as small as possible but don't want it to sound like ass.
  10. I've been playing around with WinISD, but I'm a total noob with it.
  11. I'm still trying to decide what I want to do for my summer build. I want to try a multiple sub setup (3 or 4) just because I've never had more than two subs before. Anyway, I found this simple calculator: http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=26 When I put in the parameters for the subs I'm looking at, I use the suggested Qtc of 0.707. With every sub I've tried, this gives me an enclosure volume a little larger than I'd like to use. I noticed in the "note" that you can use a Qtc of 0.9-1.2. When doing this, it brings the enclosure size down significantly. My question is, what are the drawbacks and advantages of not using the suggested Qtc of 0.707?
  12. We've got two lakes close by with spillways like that. The power of the water coming out always amazed me.
  13. Finally getting back into somewhat of a routine. Today I did some circuits using a 35lb kettlebell, pullup bar and pushups. Kettlebell-three reps of each, everything done transitioning from one to the other: Swings to snatches to presses to squats. Pullups-I used the parallel grips on my Iron Gym. I prefer the feel of the hand positioning rather than regular chinups or pullups. Pushups-Just regular old pushups. Nothing fancy. I did this circuit 4 times through with two minutes rest between each set. Very good, quick workout that really got my heart racing and the sweat pouring.
  14. ^^This. It hurts my back just watching videos of people deadlifting ungodly weight with piss poor form. I'd rather see a modest weight with flawless form.
  15. Be safe out there everyone. A small town just a few miles from us got hit hard this past weekend, and two tornados from that storm passed just a few miles south of us.
  16. Shipping shouldn't be outrageous. I've shipped heavier subs than the Dcon for around $20.
  17. You won't be disappointed. I'm running a single Dcon and it is insane for a $115 sub. I would think that they'd build them both at the same time since they are going to the same place.
  18. I'll be keeping my eyes on this. Sorry if I missed it, but do you have enclosure size recommendations yet?
  19. The Iron Gym, a few kettlebells and the floor make up my gym.
  20. My wife got me this for my birthday last year: http://www.amazon.com/Iron-Total-Upper-Body-Workout/dp/B001EJMS6K It works great, but I don't know how much weight it would hold (I'm only around 160).
  21. I want to ride this before I die:
