  2. I take that back. Two of their 6" kits wouldn't be enough, and third would be too much.

  4. Consider using aeroports. They are more costly, but you can typically get away with less port area due to their flaring.
  5. Larger enclosure will be more efficient, and likely louder. It also reduces the driver's power handling, but I wouldn't worry about. If you had to, you can always turn the gain down a tad (although I don't think it will be an issue). Cotton material gives the effect of more volume. Offhand I don't remember if it works the same in ported enclosures as sealed, but if you can already fit a 5 ft^3 then I wouldn't mess with it. You'll want to double up on the mounting baffle. As far as bracing, sort of depends on how large some of the panels end up being, but you can easily throw in some dowel rods.
  6. 38.5 x 3.25 = 125 in^2 Won't work. Your net volume would be under 3 ft^3, and require a port length over 40"
  7. No, with the dimensions from your old box you would end up well under the least recommended amount (3.5 ft^3).
  8. power vent-mach port-area 4kw 17 m/s 130in^2 3kw 17m/s 112in^2 2kw 17m/s 91in^2 You can play around more here: bitpusher.in/?p=portarea 100in^2 would likely work well. If you have the room for more, and looking for every advantage for SPL then shoot for more. IMO.

My fault, been in a bunch of meetings today. And I had the day off, but no day care. On a day off in your line of work there should be no day care brother. Gotta get as much time with the children as possible. J I took the day off since there was no daycare. Believe it or not, I spend a lot of time with my kids. Even my "toy" time now includes them. There will be a few days this winter that this isn't the cASE though. Gotta play on the snowmobile sometime! Never enough, normally I do it after they go to bed. Night time is safer since I can see the oncoming morons headlights when the fuckers can't stay on their side of the trail. Year or so ago I had a dealing of that. Trail was edged with cactus on either side, I went as far over as I could, and the other guy stuck to his line right down the center of the trail. Ended up clipping bars, and hitting his swing arm. Then promptly got cursed at for going the wrong way. Fucking asshat thought he knew better until his group told him they were actually going the opposite way people had gone for years.

  23. Okay are you using the speaker wires directly from the head-unit to your speakers? If so, then you need to test those wires, and not the rcas. I should have been more clear.
