  1. These are your wiring options: The lower the impedance the more power the amp will make (it was also require more amperage). Whatever the power it is, it will be divided amongst the drivers. Ex: at 1ohm an amp produces 500watts, and your using two drivers, each will see around 250 watts. In simplest terms
  2. Swapping tail lights out in my car takes about 30 seconds drunk... There either cheap hid kits which everything I read are bad, or there is one set projector headlamp set for $800... I think I'll try doing it myself, I won't be the only one, worst case I end up spending more money and end up buying new oem headlamps / housing, I'm in it to learn
  3. Good idea, I don't plan on doing it very dark, and I plan on changing out the bulbs to LEDs.

Where I am, nope. If I drive about 45minutes south of where I live though, I'm sure I could find a couple running here and there. About a year ago I was driving back from senora, on the side of the road a van was pulled over and a bunch of illegals came running out of the desert into the back of the van. About 15minutes later I went to an IHOP for breakfast and there was about 10 border patrol guys eating. I just chuckled. Where Godsmack is, I'm sure you do here and there. But I see a fair amount of cows on either side of one of the roads I take home everyday, and sometimes they decide to walk across...

I simply want better light coverage then stock. I drive at night on a lot of unlit roads. I read that putting hids in stock housing blinds the shit out of people and is the wrong way about going about it. I also know higher end vehicles come stock with projectors and they obviously work well for them (and happen to give a nice look). And tell me, where the fuck did I mention anything getting laid. Oh wait that's right, I didn't.
  6. I honestly have no clue what you said about the last part. All I know is that different projectors let you aim the light differently, and that the HIDs emit plasma? Oh and the actual lens / projectors look sick

Looks like I'm going to retrofit some projectors in my headlamps this summer, how hard can it be...
  8. If I can afford it I think I'll be ordering the d2s kit and doing this as a summer project, tons to read on hidplanet... Thanks luker
  9. So helpful...
  10. Do you mean this??? Approximately how much are those? H1 and D2S theyre both complete kits. It is a tad expensive. I would reccomend D2S if possible just for the fact that you can purchase a higher quality bulb. Hidplanet has some info on those kits I would really really suggest you read if you are at all planning on doing a retrofit Sure do look cool. Ill do some research on it, thanks for the help and guidance
  11. I thought the 18 was around 480.
  12. Do you mean this??? Approximately how much are those?
  13. Ill look into the overlays. Wish I could afford one man, shit cost too much, wasn't yours like 40k after giving the surgeon a bj?
  14. Im still undecided, sometimes I think stock looks cleaner while other times I like the blackness
  15. Yeah I actually ordered some hids and less from sharphid but it was taking a while and they said they had it in stock, etc so I just canceled order and haven't reordered the stuff yet
  16. Lawl. On a serious note glad to hear its all the same internally, as ill be needing another pretty soon. Bahaha
  17. Oh shit there real, now I can graph them in winisd or leap you know who you are Seriously though, glad to see it posted, official, make everyone happy
  18. Not sure how often or if your PMs are disabled Rob, but I sent you a PM with my new house address (17226 s azure...) Thanks
  19. Nice. I'll be on the look out for new videos and comparison
  20. If I went ahead with it, I wouldn't tint it very dark, as I still want the lights to remain functional
  21. That's it? Just one pic?!?!?!? That a nightshade? eta?

Pics or lies No pics, no lies. My W's family are pretty much all farmers so this is rather commonplace in our lives. At a glance I read seductive weekend
  23. If he has the space to go with a 10" or 12", why bother with an 8"... Better efficiency in terms of output and power.
  24. Better as in sq or spl? Well if it works in a way that it "magically" adds volume to the enclosure (obviously it doesn't magically make anything, but I don't know the specifics or details), and considering the enclosure volume was currently on the smaller side, the slight gain in volume would of likely made it louder and possibly flatter response. But at this point I'm just assuming as if it did magically add volume. This was years ago and I didn't pay very much attention to everything. So as originally suggested, try it and see if it works for you... I believe I bought a bag off sonicelectronix for five bucks. (or go to your local arts and crafts store) Don't expect wonders, but it may be worth five minutes and five bucks
