Wired down to .3 today looking for a 59+, amps didn't like it. Had to turn gain down -4db on head unit, riding around hitting 58's with one window down driving down the rode on music. Passenger was like WTF...lmao. Had to wired back to .6 each. Will hit a 58.7 like a brick wall but no higher. Need to reinforce roof to go higher I guess. Doing 155.5 all sealed up. This bitch gets down like a mofo. I think if I had another 5500 a 59.5- 60 would be possible.

Try to look at the coil and make sure it's not real dark, should be a nice copper color

I would run the Crescendo at .5 all day over running 2 Skar amps.

I had a 93 MarkVIII Loved that car, I replaced the air ride with struts and shocks, had 2 15's in the trunk. I had a awesome setup in that car and when I get more free time today I will try to explain alittle but of how it was setup.

Go straight to frame if possible. I will say when I was only running a single 1500 I had a Kicker GT1 ground block and sanded a thick part of the floor down and had it mounted and it worked great. Best buy also sells them. Why so tall? What kind of vehicle? SUV subs up, single port back along the bottom would be my choice. I would go 8cu tuned around 30-32hz if they are 15's The Xcons will sound great, you will like them

There is no direct answer. Only one way to find out start throwing power at it.

The remote wires are horrible on the Crescendo amps. I think they suck on the Sundowns too. But my remote wire/knob would make loud pops and thuds through the subs just touching the damn things. When I removed it this last time they made a huge pop. Scary because you can tell its a full tilt signal. I will never run another remote knob unless its a PAC 1 line type. I personally think thats what smoked my SAZ1500.

I have one of my Die Hards that rests at 12.7, the other rest at 12.9, my XS batteries rest at 13.0. This is charging them, all seperately and letting them sit 2 days afterwards to find resting voltage before I installed them. With them all linked together resting voltage is 12.9 with the truck off. I'm cool with it Good luck finding multiple batteries to match exactly. I understand the lower ones may pull alittle from the higher resting ones but thats just part of it.

As many batteries as he has no wonder his build log has taken so long. Its a three week process just charging his batteries. haha JK I have 8 batteries, no way I'm doing them seperately. Hell, my charger is hooked directly up with ring terminals. All I do run a extension cord out once every couple weeks.

depends on vehicle too. When my truck had 2 18's and a normal ported box it did a 50 at the headrest 50 in the kick and 50 at the dash. I have never seen anyone else post that they metered the same anywhere inside. Very strange...... Now I am 3 db louder in the kick. My headrest and sealed windshield number is the same. but at 18 I didnt car about metering. All I cared about was getting ass. Two 12's and a 400watt amp was bangin back then. I didnt do any upgrading every month back then.

Yeah at maybe 50hz in a burb box. Bet it wouldnt do a 45 sealed up at 35hz.

Considering it did a 47.5 sealed on dash tells me it would do a 50 Outlaw once a few things are done. I do know that it is doing the same number Sealed as the Zcon did Outlaw in Kick if I remember right. Seems to be a solid 2db increase from switching from the 15 Zcon to 18 Evil. Not bad I think. I think there are a couple things keeping it at a 49, and none are the sub. (vehicle, voltage, large daily box, no deadner, etc, etc)

Nothing wrong with that at all, but I wouldnt go through that trouble.. I have six 2/0 grounds with 5/16's boths attached to my frame. Just grind down to bare metal, drill a hole directly into frame with a titanium bit and use a nice 5/16 bolt with lock washers and nuts. No welding needed. The flat frame is easier to grind down. Even with your idea the bolts will get corroded and you will have to use a wire brush to get them back to metal anyway if you add grounds down the road.

My SP4's started a small fire in this chick's panties once. Damnedest thing you ever saw. lol Either guys are just clueless and completely beating the piss out of these subs enough to catch fire or There is malfunction with the sub causing this.. I think one of these mystery subs should be sent back to FI so a determination can be made to either fix the issue or tell the person to quit being a dumbass.
