Need help choosing an amp for my system, I have a list of amps just ne
If you only want what is listed I would go for both Rockford amps personally. They do good rated power and will last. That 4 channel will work but the speakers you have I'm sure are 4ohm so ideally something that does 100 x 4 @4ohms is what you will want. (T600.4)

Loud front stage opinions (SQ guys beware, lol)
No because I don't think they would get loud enough, they hold good power but they would need to with a sensitivity of 93db. I am going to hook up and listen to the horns, If I can't live without them I may try to do something but if not I will be going back to super tweeters.

Loud front stage opinions (SQ guys beware, lol)
Well, after spending alot of time trying to figure how to mount these horns I just dont see it happening. Atleast not the proper way. I do have room for them, the problems are. I cant get the drivers side horn all the way to the left. The hood latch and park brake release are in the way. I can relocate one but not both. This side also would be higher than the pass side because of the pedals. I have been reading that they need to be all the way to the outside and the same exact height. This will be almost impossible. I am creative and decent at fabbing up things but this seems like something that will require more than I am willing to do to my truck. So unless I have a light bulb go off in my head or just drop the truck off somewhere and hand someone some money and say make it happen it looks like I will have some horns for sale.

*Swift's Rebuild* 3 SP4 18's, 12k Walled F250
hmmm, interesting. The fasle floor is not bolted down at all but the box is. Just for safe measures I can use acrylic / plexiglass blocks to raise the bars instead of wood blocks. I have seen my method many times at meets but will take the advise and use something different. Thanks

*Swift's Rebuild* 3 SP4 18's, 12k Walled F250
Really wanted to get this done over the weekend but ran out of 2/0 last night at 10pm. I guess 125ft wasnt nearly enough. Gonna pick up another 75ft and hopefully that will do it. Put in new KnuKonceptz Krystal RCA's, made a new amp tray cause the old was worn from all the changing up thing. Got the Battery tray built, batteries mounted and as much wire run as possible. The fuse blocks will be very functional for Meca but will also have a small copper block to bridge if running Usaci. Once the wall is playing I can focus on the doors. The ID horns motors are way bigger than I thought. Im gonna have to get creative mounting those under dash. All new 10ga in box Tray built and mounted in tool box Sound Deadner for a grommet works like a champ, lol 2.5in holes now in my truck Batteries in and charger permanently mounted, I will run a extension cord to truck when needed. I have alot more wire to run but you get the idea Now for the UGLY, inside back door, I will make this pretty once I get a mock up done, only because I will be opening this door at Meca meets to change fusing. If it wasnt for that the back doors would stay shut and locked. LOL Thats all for now. Better pics of amps, subs and other shit will come later.

Icon For Bass Music?
Playing the low notes and doing it with authority are two different things. If you want to play all notes then sealed is fine. If you want to really hammer out those low notes then I would do a ported enclosure on the larger side tuned around 28. Just dont go overboard on port area to keep from unloading easily. Downside is the 40+ will suffer somewhat in output.

Newtown: 27 dead, including 20 children
I'm assuming you are referring to me since I am the only one that mentioned your comment. I don't think you were directing anything at me or my children, the notion of that makes no sense. A entire kindergarten class was murdered, if someone has any class at all then this would be the thread to show it in. Some people just think differently I guess.

Newtown: 27 dead, including 20 children
Maybe I missed something but what part of the title is even remotely funny? Being a father of 2 girls and one of them being in Kindergarden its honestly hard to even watch the reports on TV without becoming emotional. Everytime I see it I just want to hold my little girl and keep her at home.

Sundown audio. Looking for SQ?
Sundown SD series is well suited for a sealed enclosure.

55 Chevy Rat Rod Bagged Pickup
It is painted, lol Patina Blue painted to look old. Its a clean truck. Full redone vintage a/c in it that will run you out of it. Not sure what the stock alt does, but the new battery should be fine. Remember, he just wants good sounds, He wont be "bangin" lol. I think the JL C5's would sound alot better than the Alpines but may not be noticeable.

55 Chevy Rat Rod Bagged Pickup
Ended up ordering a shop pack of Damplifier Pro and 4 large sheets of Luxury Liner. Figured a large side of the budget was better spent making sure you can actually hear what equipment I am putting in it. Think I have decided on a single Sundown SD 12, with a depth of on 5.5in thats perfect. The front components may not be critical because they will be in the kicks and in sealed pods. My go with Alpine Type R's to fit in budget. The motors are Neo and very small. Or maybe the JL C5 series. I really want to keep budget on the components down to 300 or so now.

To save depth I will be going with the Sundown SD series. Good luck with sale... This is a awesome deal on subs that would take 2-4 weeks to get normally. These should sell fast!

55 Chevy Rat Rod Bagged Pickup
Anyone heard these? Kinda pricey. ID XS-65 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_22201_Image-Dynamics-XS-65.html Really like how shallow these are. Not sure how the sound, generally JL does sound good. C3-650's http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_24221_JL-Audio-C3-650.html

55 Chevy Rat Rod Bagged Pickup
The is a good friends truck. He gave me free run to do a what I want in his truck, I am keeping the budget for the entire build to $1500 or so. It already has a Kenwood headunit under the bench seat where it will stay and be operated by remote. The goal will be to leave the interior as is basically. It has a very small battery behind the seat which I may relocate to the bed if he will let me. 55 Chevy 3100 series. 350 2 barrel, automatic, Monte Carlo frame I believe, bagged with 4 switches, frame is notched and the bed floor raised to hide the air tank, compressor and wheel tubs. Its a bad ass fun truck. The goal is simply to get a nice sound in it. Nothing crazy but fairly loud and sound good. This is behind the seat. I was thinking of doing either one 12in Dcon or a couple 10's. Bottom depth is around 9in and top depth is maybe 5in (outside measurements) Width is no issue. One set of components will go in some kick pods I will make. It has the perfect space to make nice pods. So here are my thoughts. He listens to mainly Rock, 80's, 90's and some newer Pop music. Not alot of rap if any at all. Electrical....It will all run on stock electrical but I will do a nice 4 guage amp kit. I will also replace that small battery with maybe a D3400. Amp... Since I am not using my Alpine PDX 4.150 I will may just sell it to him and it will be good because it doesnt draw alot of current. So 150rms x 2 (4 ohms) for front components and 300rms x 1 (4 ohms) bridged to power the sub (s). Front Stage... A nice 6.5 Component set. Undecided so far, needs to be clean and be able to get loud. Opinions? Sub... maybe a single 12 Dcon or 2 (10's) of them sealed. Depth is a issue. Any good shallow subs? Sound Deadner.. I will be doing the entire cabin except the roof in Second Skin Damplifier Pro, the Floor will also get Luxury Liner on top of the damp pro. It sounds very hollow in there now and alot of road, engine and exhaust Noise. I will fix that. I am open to opinions. I think I will cover the pods in either bed liner or just settle with carpet. This is a Rat Rod, lol. Box will be done the same.

Loud front stage opinions (SQ guys beware, lol)
Thanks!! Looking forward to this. Now I just need to shop mids. I may go with 8's and use my Crescendo's from 80 - 1.6k until I buy what I want. I don't want to rush and cheap out on mids, unless I need to be running a 10in driver to keep up with the horns. I have room either way since no tweeter will go in the door now.

Loud front stage opinions (SQ guys beware, lol)
None without doing pods or panels, maybe try a single 8 or single 10. I can go with a sealed bolt on pod or a bolt on IB panel if its a small Neo motor maybe. Looking at 18sounds but the qts is super low
