How did you end up mounting them? It seems like every car I have installed horns in has been different.

$500 is cheap. Just wait until something bigger goes wrong. I bought my MB knowing it needed a tune up and some other small fixes. $2000 in parts later its up to my standards mechanically. Cars are money pits not investments

Who do you think builds SSA subwoofers? Fi does So you are going to be waiting the same amount for an X or a gcon. That being said they are both an upgrade over the IDQ and for less money.

No peel n seal is worse than nothing. It doesn't have any deadening advantages and produces toxic fumes. $40 can get you 15ish cld tiles. Hell if the OP needs some tiles, I will gladly sell them some.

NEVER recommend peel n seal for deadener, ever. OP I would recommend finding the source of your rattles and applying cld tiles in those areas.

I bet you could fit mini horns. They are ~5.5" deep.

You need a lot more port area. 10" aero MINIMUM. 95 square inches minimum for a slot port. What kind of power are you going to be running?
