  1. This truck is definitely a one-off custom, good job! Love the door pods and the fab work.
  2. I am eagerly awaiting a preorder, I will be using four of these for home audio use
  3. Nah man, if I wanted numbers only I would have Sundown or a TC 5400
  4. I have an in process 15XCON trunk car. +140 would be nice. It Is fun to see what you can hit regardless of diver selection. This is my opinion. Hell Mark F. has numerous vids posted bragging about XCON numbers, I know they get loud. If I wanted numbers only I would have went with Sundown. I choose XCON for quality not numbers but like I said it is fun to see what you can hit. <----my opinion. If you have numbers (trunk car w/XCON) let's see them!
  5. Wondering what numbers you guys are hitting with your XCON trunk cars?
  6. You should be more concerned about your front stage setup than the brand/size subwoofer at this point.
  7. Um....Sundown
  8. This thread is in the wrong section
  9. I am not really a patient person but I do like to do things right the first time around. This build is taking me forever, I haven't even started the doors and kicks yet. I should have a couple updates this Sunday. I can tell you that this is my first and last trunk build. This car is so cramped. I need to go back to trucks and SUV's.
  10. Good luck man! FYI projects like this always cost way more than originally planned. I have seen more project cars deserted than competed. Post pics!
  11. Sweet! Look'n good!
  12. Thanks for your review on this sub. It really is awesome!!!
  13. One hellvu job on that box!
  14. Very very clean wall!
  15. If I was doing this I would buy copper tubing, crimp it and heat shrink.
  16. Check out this speaker wire calculator There can be many advantages to having amplifiers mounted in the front capbin area. Make sure the an amplifer has good airflow to prevent overheating.
  17. Thanks for sharing, good luck.
  18. The stock alernator in that vehicle is probably very old and not putting out rated power. I would consider a new factory replacement alternator and the "big 3" upgrade. BTW the Nightshade is probable overkill, condsider an xcon 15. One more thing to consider....two 12s instead of one 15. I am building my first trunk (always had truck/suv/hatchback) install and I wish I would have went with two 12s.
  19. DPS is 25 miles form my house, excellent prices!
  20. Start with the bottom and build your way up. You can try to preassemble as much as you can fit in.
  21. You could always run your own speaker wires.
  22. If you want to only use one four channel amplifier: Purchase a component set (with xovers) that fits your budget and needs. Run channel 1&2 for the components and channel 3&4 bridged for a sub.
