My for-sale add where I had my Sundown Audio SAX 1200d and JL Audio W6's for sale or trade got deleted with the new SSA update to the Classifeds but he offered me the amp in that add.

Does anybody know Bakedboy08 personally that could get in touch with him to find out his deal?

He has not answered any text or phone calls in a week. My suggestion is to steer clear from this guy.

I sent you my Sundown Audio SAX 1200D on Feb 1st the day after I agreed to trade for your US Amps MD2D you had a notice left at your house Feb 3rd for non-delivery because I sent the amp insured through USPS priority mail. The amp finally got delivered to you on Feb. 21st and you still have not sent me the US Amps MD2D that we agreed to trade. I think it's pretty unacceptable to have not sent the amp 24 days after we agreed on the trade and I went out of my way to send you your amp. I really did not want to do this but this is starting to get ridiculous and I would really not like to be out of a $400 amp.

I vote for the BL also it's an awesome woofer, and is very loud off of 1000 watts

I think someone is selling a kicker zx2500 on here for $600, and it's 2 ohm stable. It should do pretty close to 3k at 2 ohms.

If you have the new BL it's rated at 1500 rms so I don't think the extra 200 watts is going to affect the sub.

Damn I wish I knew about comps like this when I lived in San Antonio. I didn't know anything about car audio when I lived in San Antonio 4 years ago. I was running 2 phoenix gold 10's off a random unknown amp I think was made by MTX

Other than the slim line no real innovations all the products seem a little recycled. W6V3 just had a little makeover. But nice makeover and very nice products. I really like the new slash v3 amps, just wouldn't pay that price for a 1200 watt amp.

FML I just moved and had to save my money until I sale my house in Vegas. I hope you'll be back as soon as I sale my house, because my w6's need a new home lol. Hope everything works out for you.

Sweet!!! yeah I have them all fused just worried about the splitter since I didn't install it myself but yes it's all fused.

I installed a Optima yellow top battery as my second battery. I previously had a 4 farad Cap in the trunk and the power wire was ran from the main battery to a 0 gauge splitter and 4 gauge was ran from the splitter to the Cap and the Sundown SAX1200d. I removed the Cap and added the battery in the same spot(I added a 150A fuse to the 4 gauge run from the splitter to the secondary battery). Should I run the 0 gauge wire coming from the main battery directly the second battery or is it fine the way it is? Again I have the batteries fused with 400A total between the 2.

that's scary.... Not sure I'd follow that ... But DMM method is a good way to be safe... I'll end at that... It's a scary method but its the only way for the OP to be able to see when his equipment is working too hard and when he needs to turn the gain down and of course I would say use discretion. Some people can read tutorials all day and not get it but when they see their subs working too hard that will be when the light bulb turns on. I've used the DMM method and I've tuned by ear and I've never blown a woofer either way.

Dude just turn the gain up until the bass doesn't get any louder... Then after you have it set play it as loud as you normally listen to it. If you've been playing your music for 5 minutes and your amp is already getting hot then turn the gain down. If its still cool or barely warm then you're fine. Just keep an eye on your equipment like you should anyway.

Me too I would get 2 12W7's. They're very good drivers and I think they get a bad rap because of their price. If you look on CL and get one used they're worth it

I always pick the wrong times to be broke I will be contacting you in a couple weeks though.

The SAX 1200d is an awesome amp and a little underrated you'll love it. I love mine
