  2. I have two in a ported box, the 3.2cuft. you can find here on the site. and i have them on a R/F T500-1bd and i love em'. so i would say go ported i think you may like that better.
  3. i lkie the carpet partsexpress has, it streches well so you end up with a tight wrap, looks good.
  4. i would say Dcon
  5. I found port length calculator on a web sit called Mobile Information Labs, does anyone know if its correct. or is it a better one out there.
  6. I say use the Dcon, I just got a pair a week ago the s4's. i built the 3.2cube box thats here on the tech section. they sound damn good tight, hard hitting and a very clean sound. so i say get the Dcon.........But on the other hand i have not played with the skars yet.
  7. S.DeYoung is a good guy to do do business with, ships out on time and packs product like a pro. and the Dcons i got from him were in perfect condition.
  8. i have done both, but had better luck with firing to the rear, what type of car is the build for. And what type of sound are you looking for?
  9. i heard a few but the one i like was done with a 10" JL, in full size chevy truck.
  10. yeah thats what i hear, caint wate to try em' out have you done anythang useing the Dcons, if so what?

  12. so you saying i seriously check into S4's that S.Deyoung has.
  13. I'd look into these. Going to d4 will only give you 50 watts more per sub. It's harder on the amp and won't give you much more db. Also saves time waiting on them to be built, plus $$$. Duane
  14. I have only read good things about them, Dcon i mean.
  15. the SSA store says to check back at a later stage, and as been saying that for sometime now.
  16. i wont the D4's, but E mail me with price
  17. Hey guys i built a 4.0cuft.box tuned to 30hz for two Dcon 12D4's, but they not back in production yet. So i took a look at the IA187 12-D4, how do they sack up to the Dcon,i would like to use the same box i have already built. Sould I wate for the Dcon or buy the 187 ? PS. my amp is a R/F T500-1 bdCP. help me out please, thanks guys.

  20. i like to use a relay, remote wire from HU to pin 86/ connect 12v to pin 87/ gound to pin 85/ then run sepreat wires to each amp from pin 30. I find this works pretty well.
