you have to think about what the car uses just by itself also. with a 1100cca batt under the hood, big 3 done and a 220A alt i bet you still get your headlights to blink with a 2K amp. that is alot of expensive equipment to burn up, take it a step at a time. start with a 2K amp and that 220A alt with a pair of subs on it and work your way up from there when you gain the experience.

why do people always try to bring you down when your doing good? why can't people be happy for the other guy who may be doing better than them? i have always been thankfull for what i had and when i was growing up i didn'y have a god damn thing. i work my ass off and now i'm finally getting there and people are tryiing to knock me down like crazy. if thhey only knew what kind of stress i go through each day to make their lifes better also. let a man relax and live a life outside of work and say what he wishes to say as long as it doesn't involve you. everybody needs there own way to break away from the shit

yeah, i've always built ported enclosures and have always been left somewhat satisfied. they get low as hell and loud, but they lack when it comes to playing a wider fq range. like you said, high excursion 18's sealed up, yum! i bet they get pretty low and sound good with almost anything played. my next project for sure, great job man

i am really starting to lean into the sealed enclosure area. i love ported, but i think i would be much happier with sealed. i've too been diggin the x-cons or possibly the SP4's. i like what your doing, leaning away from the crowd. do your thing man

what are the external dimensions of the enclosure? it would be easy to put a port in there to take up space in the enclosure and to give you alot more output. also what type of music do you usually listen to. if you give us that we can get you in the ball park and i'll sould a hell of alot better.

put a slot port in it and call it a day. adding a port will take up volume in the enclosure and give you more output. you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

IMO i think he wwould love the 15 in a sealed enclosure and with what he has he's not draining the electrical that much. big 3 with the new batt. should suffice.
