  1. jl audio makes one too. but for 50 bucks each it's kinda of pricey. http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_connect...l.php?cat_id=10
  2. duh. i would fuse them. and ok i was going to do it like this because i didnt have enough length of a run to go directly to each battery. i will just use fuse holders to connect the lengths then ( i have alot of extra fuse holders) or something like that. and then go from the second battery to the amps. and since i cant edit my first post. if all i have is a powermaster 3100d for the starting battery. would that not be enough with a 90 amp alt and big 3 done? im not trying to cheap out. i just trying to get in some figures on how much everything willl cost.
  3. ok, im starting to upgrade my eletrical before i start doing my system. and i may add a second battery. ( i can fit a powermaster 3100d underhood ) and if add it. i was wondering if instead of running the positve and the negitave wire directly to each battery if i could run them to distribution blocks instead and go from the distribution blocks to the amps. i already have a 1/0 ground run and a 1/0 postive run. and i will get 1 sax100.2 @ 3 ohms. 1 sax 125.2 at 4 ohm. and a either a saz or sae1000d. so roughly 1500 rms total. but my truck only has a stock 90 amp alt. and i doing big 3 is 2/0 guage wire. ( it's welding wire)
  4. the sae1000d got turned into the saz1000d, that is why.
  5. does the trade in program work 4 refurbs or just new sundown amps?
  6. how long till we see a 12" version?
  7. hi, i am going to be getting Polk Audio MM6501 speakers in a week. and i am wondering what roughly would an sax100.2 do at 3 ohms? i want to assume around 150rms since the rms doubles going from 4 ohms to 2 ohms. but wanted to ask just to be sure. thanks.
  8. i belive jacob use to have on the sundown audio page. that a 200 amp alt plus a powermaster 3100d is recommended was the bare minimum for eletrical for the 3000d
  9. i was just about to ask. what about for like refurbs from db-r?
  10. And you will more then likely have to do the big 3 with either choice. and i would go with the saz1500d.
  11. hi, whats the mounting depth on the 15" looking like. and how well would would these do in a 3.0 f^3 ported ensclouse?
  12. how would these compare to like an IA Death row? output size.i plan on tuning in the low 30's
  13. only two bad thing are: the tweeter and midbass are night and day. like they werent meant for each other. like the midbass will be strong but weak highs. and other thing is the 4" mounting depth that the midbass has. but they do sound good. but dont feed them over 200 watts. :/
  14. how would these compare to IA Death rows?
  15. ii havent messed around much with them. but upgrading to my alpine 9887 deffently had a sound improvement over my pioneer 680
  16. if a person would to use them only as strictly to play from like 350hz to around 60hz or so would they be better off sealed or ib?
  17. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...=18646&st=0
  18. with the 3000d you Will be needing to upgrading your eletrical.
  19. any possibility of a 10" nightshade? :/
  20. wouldnt something like a screw extractor work? to get the broken screw out and then just find a screw that will fit in it's place?
  21. how steep is the lowpass filter slope?
  22. The one thing it was missing was defenelty a subsonic filter and the upgrade in the crossovers is just a bonus. nice job.
  23. you are still going to need to get another battery more then likely. so not get the 200 amp one now.
  24. I think i read somewhere that they are ib style Subs. 15" and 18" and then i some how i got to a uk car audio site that had fi and they had that line of subs from them? http://www.bladeice.com/ibseries.php
