Single Inputs vs Dual Inputs
I think you misunderstand the benefits. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decibel#Acoustics in competition sure you could hope to gain a fraction of a db but you could probably find easier gains elsewhere. No I got it. And I studied that shit 8 years ago when I got my EE. And you would be wrong in your second statement, electrical upgrades are probably the easiest ways to gain above a 160 db.

WICKED NASTY Hairtricks!!!
- Single Inputs vs Dual Inputs
Spread out dual inputs across multiple amps and a 100 watts turns into alot more. At a certain point they become a benefit. In competition where every tenth counts you bet your ass I am gonna run them.- I guess I am a noob? :)
Yeah there is a long back story that goes with that, but that was my fault testing the full limits for sure, truck is fine now and louder then before- Fusing and wiring
Putting a 100 amp fuse on a piece of 1/0 makes zero sense to me, run the proper cable if you want to fuse lower.- running multiple runs of 0 gauge
I ground from the alt case to the battery bank, also to the frame. Also run equal grounds, I dont want any voltage drop, so a little over kill goes a long way.- I guess I am a noob? :)
Thanks for the welcome!!!- Fusing and wiring
Your logic on number 3 is a little off, you always fuse to rating of the run of wire. If that conductor is rated at 500 amps then fuse for 500 amps.- HDS300
- subwoofer myths
Some of those seem a little off, well they are a little off lol.- Q1-3500D.1 (Amplifier Guts)
NICE- I know I have a car audio addiction when......
I cut a perfectly good sub up just to change ohm load.- HDC3 & HDC4 coil and motor's
- enclosure deadening
You would gain more by sanding and smoothing out any and all transistions inside the enclosure. Deadening the layers won't do anything. Just brace properly, I prefer steel.- What happen here? ANYONE get any resolution!!!
I can't even remember how long ago it has been, but whatever happen to this guy, he was cool until I sent in 2 of my alts he built and never heard anything again, his phone/website/email, everything just shut off and no response. I know he did the same to a few others, what outcome? Just curious....- HDS300

Yes I do actually cool cat for sure- I guess I am a noob? :)
What's up, my brand came here so I followed. I am pretty active on a few forums and do the whole YouTube thing. Most know me from my truck, The Black Nasty. I am pretty laid back and honest, also if you come off as a dick, I will be one right back, so suck it up.- HDS300
I have personally liked the sound of the aq/sq subs cuz they slam and play LOUD, in the proper enclosure. We get it bro, you like Soundqubed, maybe later you can post something substantial, like an intro in the new members section, instead of peanut-buttering Sq's balls. And that's no slam to Soundqubed, I have no opinion on something I have no experience with. I just don't like minions that only run around posting nut-hugging. Reminds me of Kevin and his little posse. *shuddersWell I am sorry but I am not ready for that kind of relationship yet. But thanks for the consideration!!! I support a company that supports me. Pretty simple logic.- First post. Question about soundqubed
FAWK yeah^^^^^ Do you do reach arounds?- HDS300

I say go for the 3500, I have 6 of them so I can't complain one bit. I also have the SQ2200, run it on stock electrical in my kia on a HDC4 15. It slams- HDC3 & HDC4 coil and motor's
Considering I have ran both, talking about the 15s that is, they want the same cubes and port area. I am guessing the difference in fs was due to two different tests. I daily the SHIT out of my HDC4s and I did with my HDC3s. Hundreds of demos and counting.... Why would you worry about an aluminum coil? doesn't make sense to me why you would be concerned with this in a 4 inch coil large motor sub like the HDC4, seems like you are worrying about nothing, build a box, hook it up, and enjoy, repeat with multiple subs and amps- Please welcome SoundQubed to the SSA forums
