Can't decide what i should do about amps
What subs do you have? Why do you want more power? What does your electrical system consist of?

34.75 vs. 36 would most likely be an undetectable audible difference.

He's doing a side port. The external width of the box is 40.5" - 0.75" - 0.75" = 39" The port length would be 36". Why wouldn't 36" fit in 39"? So if his port was 38" long he would still not have to bend it? but he would have 3.75" left open to the port entrance. You don't think that's enough? I always try to bend at the port width if possible. 3.75 should be enough but I would still bend at 34.75. I know with aero ports people say half of the port width, but that is a minimum and I always try to use more if possible. Would your way sound any different than my way, maybe not. It is just how I have always done things and I was curious as to see when you would draw the line and bend it.

subs for a single cab f-150
A 3 inch port is far too small.

2-2.25 would be fine, just make sure you use the right amount of port area, and you will be set.

subs for a single cab f-150
Probably won't be much of a difference if any. And the Icon would be just fine in a 2 cubic foot enclosure.

subs for a single cab f-150
The single Icon would sound awesome and get plenty loud. The Sa 10s might get slightly louder due to the increased cone area but the Icon wins the sq battle.

Wired SSA Icon 12 to 200w(4 ohms) today...
Yep I have to agree with everyone, glad you guys are liking your subs!
-
Which subs
I'd still run my XCON's if I had 750 to spend on subs
-
Which subs
Way more information is needed. Goals? Power available? Space? What does the rest of the system consist of? Can you build your own enclosure?
