@ tuning DD-1 works fine, if you use it right. Not setting your gains with -15.... Maybe if you listen to the tone that you set it with and nothing else...

The cooling is working because the dust cap is hot and when I touch the coil it is very hot to the touch. On 250 rms per subSome heat is normal. How do you know they are getting 250 a piece?

How are you determining that the cooling isn't working?

Set your gain by ear, the DD1 is useless for what you are doing. Take a picture of your subwoofer wiring.

do you mean can put all the parts that come with the recone in, but the sub still remains a v1? Yes it is a V1 motor. The recone is only the coil and soft parts which are very similar to the v1 anyway.

I will have to wait until I get the sealed box built to answer that. You are the only person that will ever seal an evil Not saying that it isn't a good fit for it, but it probably isn't what most people would do with the Evil. I am definitely tuned in for the results, and love the fact that you are trying it out!

If you really want to switch to a single amp and it is in good condition, it's a solid amp and a fair trade. In my opinion of course.
