  1. I am looking into this right now. If a part we requested was supposed to shipped from the build house, I will have to call again.
  2. Aaron Clinton replied to coot's topic in SSA® Store
IA is building as fast as they can and getting the made to order subs out in order they came in. Chronologically, your order is not too far from the top.
  3. Regular lifting, helps with bone density, joints, etc. and just all around health. People give me shit for working out and eating the way I do, but I have not been sick (at least sick enough to miss a day of work) in a good many years.
  4. He drew my big arm piece. Thanks for the kind words J. I look forward to putting the finishing touches on the one sleeve and jamming out the other arm! Aaron, I wish I could of done the tattoo for you also. I have visions of a b&g super realistic one up the back of the other arm! As I started tattoo'ing out of enjoyment and to be that guy that tatt'ed up all his friends and family. I love leaving a piece of me on people for life and also their souls. I am honestly considering doing another one on the left arm. This one took 14 hours. But then again, a sleeve is something in the back of my mind also. Not to say homie was slow but I personally could of done it in quite a bit less time. I am VERY deliberate and don't mess around as time is money. With that being said, I will tell you the same I told Jordan. A plane ticket, rental car and hotel are probably less than paying someone to do 8-12 hrs of tatt work on you as I would do the work for free if you make it here. I can't accept free work. Meh. I usually tell friends and fam to just pay enough to cover supplies and overhead. I would already have done a cross country trek to ink and meet all the SSA brothers, but life has not permitted it. Aaron, Take the time to take this man up on the offer. I am hoping to make the trip in May or June for my next session. Bring the lady along to see CO too. J If its meant to happen, it will happen. The offer is there for you Aaron. I know how you are about taking things for free as you wouldn't even let me give your boy Lego's without giving something in return. Which btw was worth about double what I sent you. I don't accept free, Neal has really tested me. I forgot what I sent you, but Arthur loves the legos and builds with them often. As for coming out, travel for me is relative based on stored up vacation time based on time elapsed from layoff/new job turnover. In all honesty, I'm so programmed to not take any time off whatsoever as to be prepped for the next layoff to carry me over until I find a new job.
  5. Their front page statement is interesting.
  6. Welcome to the site, this is without question, one of the most helpful and informative english speaking car audio sites, period.
  7. Please use the search, as I know there are multiple topics on the DD1 and why it is not a popular item here.
  8. Have to stay on these mini meals all day long.
  9. What are those? Amps, not sure if he still has them or not.

  12. Now if you can rip those Sony ES from his hands....
  13. DAFUQ is wrong with you? Haha. We have two perfectly good other car audio forums: CA-F http://www.caraudio-forum.com/forum/ & CAR http://www.caraudioresources.com/ Everyone who is into cars as well as audio, needs to join CA-F in my opinion.
  14. Ironically enough, I had the last few drops of Jack single barrel last night. Back to Makers, then on to Makers 46. But after the first evening whisky, I switch to Seagrams.
  15. Guessing that the subs were only seeing half of the power he has available, he's in the low-mid 50's. It's a low end monster. He honestly doesn't care about numbers, the only thing he likes is Decaf. And by god, this thing can play it. haha. Maybe we need to send some SSA guys near you, your way for enclosures if they want something custom like this. Sounds good to me! They can look up my business McGovney Designs on facebook. I'm located around central Oklahoma.

  17. Tell him to back the gains down a little. we're having a little meet and greet on Saturday with a bunch of audio guys around Oklahoma, and we'll be setting his gains properly with an o-scope. Also, he has each sub wired to it's own amp, so to simplify the system, we'll be strapping his amps so he just has one gain knob to worry about, and the signals will be perfectly even. Great to hear. Tell him to shoot us an email when he is ready to work on the batteries and alt's.
  18. I stayed on with hostgator alllllll morning. New name server records were not created during an update. I am truly dreading email coming back online.

  20. Finally got the host to get the SSA side of things back going again.
  21. Very cool! Love the enclosure.
