  1. Oh, man...not THIS guy..
  2. Good luck sir. Having a partner helps.
  3. Are you going to actually install them?
  4. I raped, I mean flagged a ton as well. I would do more than just a flag if there were an option. Top right of the forum window is the Admin CP. Open it in a new window or new tab. Search the member name and on the top of that screen you will see "Ban Options". Click that tab, check all the boxes (be sure to move the user to the ban list) and click save. We've not been IP banning due to issues with sharing IPs. Ok, I haven't been banning IP's due to I thought there were prior problems with it. I have slowed down on banning IP's due to many spammers with proxy using IP's that normal members have.
  5. Passive 3D?Passive 3d is what is used in theaters and many TVs. Passive 3d has no electronic interaction with the tv. Active 3d, like a tv, refreshes the actual lenses many times a second which creates the 3d picture. The original active 3d was so slow, you could actually see the flashes in the lenses which made many people dizzy, sick, etc. That gave active 3d a bad wrap. Now, since tech has gotten better, I prefer Active 3d over Passive 3d.. Yea the glasses can be $$$ but i'm paying for better depth as well. Ah. I like passive better so far. I would rather have neither though. Aside from avatar I didn't think it added much to many movies. Maybe Harry Potter was cool, but not much else. Most all pixar is very good in 3D. Going to watch the new star track tonight in 3D. Damn, I want to also.
  6. THat is how it used to work but at some point they changed me so it doesn't. I figured I was demoted. No one was demoted, the above description by Adrian works.
  7. I don't have that tab available. It is likely only open to SMs and Admins. Tech team does not seem to have that. I checked on Matt's and Neal's profiles. TechTeam Members have the same settings as SuperMods, just purple stuff.
  8. The Black and Blue is almost over though.
  9. Need to add a catipa or whatever the funky little word needed to type in to become a member and add a question like "what's 1 + 1" in order to become a member. That wont stop it but will surely slow it down. We have both of those already IIRC.
  10. Need to add a catipa or whatever the funky little word needed to type in to become a member and add a question like "what's 1 + 1" in order to become a member. These are humans posting now. Little different. Only thing to truly stop them is to do admin approval.
  11. We are working on ours now.
  12. Today is a record day of spam for SSA. Been on top of it most of the day.
  13. Awesome, great news.
  14. But seriously, the Dcon/Gcon/Icon/Xcon all sound excellent on normal power in proper installs. The Zcon has never really been applied in an SQ biased setting, plus it was never really intended on as an SQ sub, but that does not mean to say it is a one note wonder. There are a few SQ guys using the Evil. But yes, we have had something in the works for a while, just had so much in front of it.
  15. The SD-2 8 is a nice underhung option.
  16. I think I might have fixed the spammer negative reputation issue, but we will see.
  17. Here, with no speeding tickets in a good while, and only a repair ticket for a tag light being out, insurance for the Mazda's is $1320/6mo. Seriously? For what amount of coverage? That is horseshit.Full on both.

  19. The photo of the photo is in the photo, which has a photo of the photo already in it, making it a photo of a photo of a photo of a photo.
  20. There are a ton if you don't add the word reasonably priced. Ok, the manual portion is a stretch but really once you break into the serious performance realm the new 8spd auto's work out better anyway.Certified AMG worked out for me...but doing that to a newer one is ultra cost prohibitive making me way the gamble of non-warrantied which is making me run away. Agreed, but I still prefer to row the gears myself. I think I have come to realize, I prefer a more moderately priced car that I can tinker on and work it to my liking that will have less insurance costs and less repair costs.
  21. A used Turbo Cayenne would fit that bill, be had for 30k and be reliable for years. My friend has had 3 of them and never an issue with any of them. I should have said sedan, wagen, or coupe. I have no need for an SUV, and for the most part my mothers Mounty is always there if I need it. Love that electric front defrost.
  22. We spent the money on getting an older Icon Kippel tested a while ago. Even the spec crazed people on DIYma really didn't care.
  23. At this point, there seems to be almost no options out there that I could be comfortable with that would be reliable on a daily basis with a heavy heavy dose of performance that is offered in a manual and AWD/RWD, which is not overladen with intrusive electronic ninnies, cheapo crap interior, while having some semblance of utility.
