I love going with the big weights at the gym, but pushing past certain levels is not worth it anymore.

Build it nice and solid and let the Icon break in naturally over time.

Went better than expected. They have some in stock at a store more than 50 miles from me, told them I wasn't driving that far & they needed to have one sent to my local store. Guy said he could contact the auto center to see if they could arrange that. Didn't figure they would be willing to do that, and still might not as he hasn't talked to the auto centers yet....but I'm tired of having to jump my fucking car in 10* weather, so atleast it's a step in the right direction. Laying the smack down.

It can vary, if you are sending it in, yes it can take as long. If a kit, sometimes a little less.

The original has a vented pole, the new model has a solid, axial CNC machined pole.

Very good question, that is being addressed. There is another issue that I cannot state publicly as it is not on our website, so it is not my business to so.

Pointless post? Read the title; "Beware! Skar Audio poor customer service" I posted this because had I known what I metioned earlier, I never would have purchased Skar product from the beginning. The point is to warn current and potential future customers what to expect when trying to contact them for support. NO RESPONSE! I wish I had seen a post like mine before I bought Skar audio because I would have stayed away from it. I did get lucky though and like my VVX15s and the way they sound. I just hope they never need service work done cause they likely will be throw aways now with no one answering the phone and not even Email support from Skar audio. BTW yes some specs are posted on the website but the full T/S paramers specs on the website are incomplete, which is why I was trying to contact them in the first place. Don't get all bent man. Not every company posts or releases TSP's. The concern shown by many is the incorrect specs or the lack of response when asking about them. It is pretty vital for an online DIY leaning company. It makes it difficult for me too, as I am unable to answer basic questions on some products we sell because the information is not provided or is incorrect.

I think I explained in an earlier post, we just don't have the capacity or man power at the factory to be doing steady individual progress updates on orders out side of the standard processed or shipped. Would love it if we could, but just way too expensive to pull off, or would only slow down the progress tremendously. Understood bro, it's all good. Looking forward to rocking my Dickies shirt man. Any plans to offer more colors? Not sure yet. We had mostly black and a couple of grey ones. We are behind on ordering shirts and such. Just have had no time to get to a new design etc.
