Did a little research and it seems there is a rash of this going around the internet where an actual human is signing up and then activating a bot to mass PM every member in the member base except the administrators. I believe I found the patch to stop this, Mark will install it very soon. Our CAPTCHA is actually set as high as it can go, so all has to be done by human interaction. The funny thing is that we broke our members on in one day record because of the spam.

Unreal. Keep in mind, O'Malley started this term with a good sized surplus from the prior Gov. (who amazingly enough was a NOT democrat in a traditionally blind demo state). In the short 3 years he has been in power, he ran up a massive deficit, all the while passing the largest single tax increase by any state in the history of the US. Now the sad state of affairs is that he will probably get voted back in, keeping in mind that this smallish state had $1billion in earmarks requested by the Gov. in addition to the stimulus. What is happening here in MD, is am microcosm of what is going to happen nation wide.

Nothing at all wrong with a sealed enclosure. The Q is more at home in sealed I believe then the SSD, but either will be a great choice. Also, 1500 watts is pretty much right at the upper most limit of what even the fully optioned Q can take. So no need to increase power after that.

You can get a simple DMM at any local hardware shop for under $25.

I am so glad they made it there on time. Do not want to imagine the weight of that box with the drivers in it. And for high end SQ drivers to put up that number on 550 watts each is pretty freaking surprising, especially since I know they are not broken in yet. I would have thought Jacob would have for giggles wired up a pair of 3kD's to test knowing him. Maybe budget for some deadening down the road too.

Under normal play they will break in over a week or so. If you notice any change in sound it will be the bottom end opening up a little more as the suspension breaks in, same as with the Icon and Xcon. The excursion will be much more noticeable in a sealed enclosure.

Not quite. We are so loaded with the release of the Dcon 10/12 and the Xcon line, we have not had a chance to get back to the 8" model. Don't worry, it will be released, trust me, I want this driver on the market bad.
