  1. Excellent craftsmanship.
  2. What makes them a bitch? Do they have the bolts instead of lug nuts? The holes seem small, but that's what thin-wall sockets are for . Mine has very long bolts and it can be pesky to take on or take off the tire.
  3. Wow, I am very sorry to hear that. Buddy of mine had serious issues with his Armada and Nissan had some very questionable business practices when he owned it when there was an issue. Personally I will not touch a Nissan newer then maybe a '93 300zx. I think I see a 328is in your future.
  4. Pads and Rotors from Zeckhausen. The Axxis Deluxe stop the dusting problem and he should have some cheap rotors. It's a bm'er so they are ultra easy to slap on. Just checked and their price on the stop tech slotted rotors are not bad. But then I would need to do all 4 instead of just 2. I wouldn't spend the money on the slots, just get the cheapies. Not like you regularly run into fading situations in your DD. This is true, but I did get to wring it out some yesterday in a short romp out west of the city yesterday.
  5. I go through that from time to time.
  6. Wow, that is seriously sweet looking!
  7. Those drivers can take a ton of abuse, that is nutty.
  8. Thought more people would be jumping on this.

  10. Silly people sleeping!
  11. Great work!!
  12. If you are worried about peak output, the BL's are designed to have more peak output then the Icon's. I would love for you to buy Icon's, but I am not going to lie to you for it to happen.
  13. It is a win win, both will love the 3 cube sealed box.
  14. That was me but Tom did have some good pictures of his own. I understand how easy that would be to mix . Toms pics are better IMO opinion since he owns the 8 cylinders. Crap, my fault, I was rolling through the user names and I put his instead of yours, my bad.
  15. How could you drive a car with GoodYears? ? ? ? ? ! ! ! ! ! Well the wifes family is long time friends with a Goodyear shop manager. So after enough time I was able to take off blinders by the example of the yoko's on the sled.
  16. Very nice!! Wish they still made those.
  17. When I last spoke with Stephen, I don't remember hearing anything about tubes. But either way, all the die hard ZED fans seem to really be amped up about these.
  18. Yeah, love it or hate it, you have to respect the talent and time put into that paint.
  19. Looks good just glancing at it, not at home to put it through a program at the moment. I mentioned that size and tuning to bring to the forefront what you and Brad felt was lacking in an IB install. Heck, Mark run's his 10's in 1.73 cube per. You could take the tuning 2+/- and slug the inner volume to find your optimal preference. The interesting things is that a large part of the focus and design of the Dcon was to really excel in smaller ported boxes with mild power input (well smaller then average, and still have a fairly flat response where others would have a steep roll off), but the production models are flexible with ported box sizes. So far a handful of people are putting them in average to slightly above average box sizes and loving the performance for what they spent and how little power they are running. It was never meant to be a world beater, but a modest quality mid-level, mild power driver for people that did not want to spend Icon prices but still wanted the same level of clarity.
  20. Some quick points as I spent too much time trying to catch up: Terps won!!!!, we won my soccer game last night, brain numb from 3 intense days of full tilt studying for a certification exam, need to get off of here and run to the gym real quick, but enjoying listening to M1live and decompressing from studying. Congrats caligreen, Welcome to SSA Tiffany, and glad you are not scared off by us old horny men Kent thanks for refreshing the spam rules, I have no bugaboo with some postwhoring, just like to know where it starts and stops Tom, love that dual boosted pictures Sean, just put a full set of Yoko AvidV4s's on the 528i, measureable improvement in a few areas over the Goodyears that just came off. But I need to get new rear rotors and pads. So -> Audio-neon, glad your computer is allowing you back Ryan, excellent post (in green) need to show it to my wife, seeing that I am a '77 and she is an '80. I was alive when Elvis was still kicking, and born under the Carter administration, was brought home from the hospital in a light blue '73 Bug.
