  1. Tell me your trunk secrets with the 10! I am running 2 10s in a trunk as well.
  2. If you like the warranty then go with AQ or Sundown. If you want something good for the money then Audiopipe AP3000 is the way to go. You can power all 4 subs at 2 ohms with one of these amps. I have never had a problem with my amp so I cannot give input on their warranty. I got my amp for 320 shipped with 1 year warranty. This is way way less than the hifonics bxi you're looking at. Also, this amp puts out the rated power. Also, have you upgraded your electrical system for this amount of power? You're going to mess up some amps if you don't have the current to back them up.
  3. 600 watts is not worth it. What ohm load do you need your 2000 or whatever you want at?
  4. tejcurrent - have you metered it with just the 2 18s on 10kwatts? Also, is it in the same airspace and same tuning? I'd like to know which would do better, more airspace for the subs vs more cone area.
  5. I'm going to loosen mine just to be sure.
  6. I wouldn't say its not enough power but I wouldn't say its too much either.
  7. damnit, I hate you. I want some so bad. Those prices are ridiculous.
  8. Use the formula and then subtract 2. You would get a shorter REAL length but ACOUSTICALLY, your sub will see a longer port. In this case longer by 2.
  9. get the 1209 or an Audiopipe ap1500d which is 150 shipped on ebay. I just got one for the girlfriend. I will say that the SSDs will take much more than 800 watts. I have had the 1206 and the 1606 on a 12" ssd.
  10. And all caps mean you are yelling. So.. why are you yelling? j/k Are you going with porkchop to the show in somerset?
  11. Dcons shouldn't be of bad quality to overlook. I'd go 4 dcons too if space isn't an issue.
  12. lol. I understood the 2nd part. The first part was still making me cringe when I tried to reread it.
  13. reading your post hurts my head, rattlebox. Welcome yeabuddy!
  14. Well, I did the carpet because the girl would like it to be more clean and integrated into the trunk surrounding for a more OEM look. I will try to install it today with the free 3 hours between my afternoon classes.
  15. Don't deny it.. you liked it.
  16. damn, me and shizzzon was just talking about that amp earlier tonight and we talked about high powered alternators with that much power at idle too. Which dc power alt line are you getting? 350 at idle? shit. What does it do at 2k rpm? I wished I had a bigger engine. lol. subscribing.
  17. It probably won't be installed until after this weekend because I have a comp to get ready for. o and one advise to anyone thats about to carpet... GET A SHARP BLADE. The messed up seams are from a dull blade.
  18. WTF! Why do you even post, Nick. I am about to rip my hair out in anticipationlol. I was going to give you negative rep but then I'd probably won't get my Q.
  19. My first carpet attempt. I didn't do a perfect job at the seams but it was okay. I forgot to paint the port before carpeting. fail for me.
  20. I get out of classes at 4 so I'll be able to be there at 5pm. I'm going to try to run all the wires before friday though so all I have to do friday is fuse testing.
  21. you might have to roll the fenders too. Just make sure going that low with bigger rims will still give you enough clearance for wheel turns.
  22. what if two people had guesses that were the same increment away from the real answer or what happens when no one guessed right?
