Josh brown did it in his crx he competes in Sb3. As you know though obviously those guys are going to be a huge help. Ryan Mccue would be another guy to ask for ideas on a crx.

you can get 4-12s to fire forward in there, just depends on what your willing to do. You know the humps (wheel wells) in the back area, the box has to be above that, its kind of hard to explain, but if you search around more even check out the usaci forum you will get a ton of ideas. Nice rex though!
3. External port fyi, but obviously its not worth arguing the point because you guys are the only people that are right 0.8 tuned at 30 hz would be a 3inx24in port obviously it would be a very long port, but its possible and it works enough said. As stated several times though your best bet is to play with several style box sizes and tunings to get the max performance out of what your using, and/or contact jacob and see what he suggests.
4. Nobody said 80 cubes 0.80 was mentioned either or keep it more so on topic. Lets get clarification on Sq vs SPL vs ""SQL""? That would be a great help to the OP also they listened to a wide genre not just rap<<< that stands out to me, so your telling me techno normally in the 60+hz range is going to play as solid as rap 28-40hz being tuned at 30hz? A flat response from a box is ideal obviously. As I said before though its going to be more trial an error for you then what people are going to say on here. Start with a 1 cube box and work you way down try several tunings and even sealed and see where the sub shines for you. I could be wrong, but the reasoning behind M5 using such a large box would be to compensate for the low power being used.
5. To M5 realistically all you do is come and bash people, the op simply asked for advice, I noted what worked for me, you noted what worked for you plain an simple, you seem to know little to nothing about SPL an always lean more towards SQ in your apps which is fine, nor do I mind your negative attitude towards many members, but you do understand that your not audio god nor are you always right dont you? Further more the Person that actually maked the brand suggested roughly the same size I did imagine that. Have I used the SA-8 yep several times and in my testing I have already mentioned what worked best for me. Jacob uses the sub in 1cube in a crx with solid results simple as that. If you dont like what someone else does or thinks you dont have to acknowledge them you know that right? To Op for your application your best bet is going to be play around with boxs a little tried sealed, try ported see what is most appealing and obviously perfect that until your as satisfied as you can be with your project then share it.
6. Im sure that would use, I normally use locktite I havnt had a problem using it for years.
7. I was actually thinking the same thing. I was thinking something more along the lines of 0.80 gross (then subtract your sub and port displacement from that) what is the purpose for tuning at 30hz? Im leaning towards that not being enough port area either, I personally would lean towards 1 4inch aero tuned to 33-34hz. In my personal testing and playing around with boxs tuning as low as 30hz kinda rolls off hard in the upper freq range like 42+ tuned at 33hz would play up to 46hz.....play around with it.
8. I have found the easiest way to find the peak freq of your vehicle is to get a test tone cd start at 25hz go all the way up to 80hz any size sub will work in a sealed box make sure you start an finish the test with the same volume etc throughout the test, and obviously I like to use a termlab, but you can use other options just need to look around, or ask around an see if anyone is in your area with a termlab, when Im home I open my termlab up to anyone that needs it an do a test and tune session no problem.
9. I actually just used it last month the fruit punch flavor taste fairly good, but I didnt really see the results I did from other comparable pre-work out supplements. I also had a stomach issue while taking jack3d, really just made my stomach ache to the point I didnt want to eat, I have used several supplements over the years (being deployed to Iraq you really dont have much else to do other then work and work out!) So I will list what worked for ME personally best. Remember though things arent going to give the same results to each person, some peoples bodies react to pill form better then powder form, muscle look/building has alot to do with genetics as well. As for lucky76 you must be a beast, but I would like to hear your stats as for deadlift and bench. Good sites for researching and ordering: Vitadigest, Supplement Warehouse, Damuscle <personally I like supplement ware house, because they price match any other place with a cheaper price, cant go wrong with that. For loosing weight I found doing HIT (high intensity training) works the best and its backed by a ton of university studies, sticking to a higher protein less sugar, carb diet works wonders. My main concern is when you take supplements take them seriously an follow the given information like loading stages, peak times to use certain products you cant judge something if you make a 1/2 A$$ effort at it, its unfair to yourself and the product. Basic understanding of certain products is a huge help as well like the difference between casien an whey protein, anabolic state vs catabolic state, amino acids. All PRE work out supplements arent designed to give you this so called energy boost some are formulated purely for mental focus at the gym, so its unrealistic to get something geared towards mental focus an expect it to give you some generic so called mind blowing energy boost! If you make it 2weeks into a program more then likely you will stick with it, most people quit way before that or right at 2weeks. Take it serious, map it out, document your gains or losses and you will get to your goal. Dont expect results overnight or merely in 1 week, understand the hard work will pay off in due time, 2months is a realistic goal for visual results not only to you but your peers will also notice your progress. 10. Actually it does many people have done the test, when you have crap rcas wire you often run into problems with outside noise being picked up an thats commonly from POS rcas, because the shielding in them SUCK NUTS! I had a terrible interference in my truck using walmart rcas, swapped them out with knukoncept krystal cables problem solved, checked the pos walmart rcas for cuts nicks anything, nothing tried them in another car same problem. Whats the point of spending money on quality products then skip out on rcas? We all know rcas carry the signal from the HU to the AMP call me crazy, but thats one of the most important things to NOT OVERLOOK!
11. more then likely that memphis did more power then your current lanzar amp. The only lanzar amp I have ever liked was the opti series. Realistically if you were to put a Sundown 3500 on that sub in place of the lanzar it would be a NIGHT and DAY difference! I say go with the 3k, because you will have overhang power. If you get a 2k amp more then likely your not getting 2k factoring in imp rise, voltage etc. With a 3k you can be easy on the gain keep the power clean an that sub will SCREAM!
12. Then why dont you sell the JL amps and keep running it off the hifonics because the JL amps are going to bring in alot more money then that hifonics, and you will be able to get a Sundown 3500 which would be very fitting for your BTL 18....
13. LMAO I look forward to this answer.
14. Lucky for you maybe lucky for your friend however you look at it lol its an easy dust cap fix!!
15. A picture would be best so we could actually see if its just the dust cap or the actual cone.
16. When will the 10s-12s debut and be available for purchase jacob?! That is sick though fyi!!
17. jmanjr replied to heckvr4's topic in Sundown Audio
Sick truck! I'm pretty sure (feel free to correct me if I am wrong), but jacob doesnt warranty amps down to 0.5 any longer! If you know what your doing this could be done fairly safely, but I personally would make sure I had plenty of battery power an of course an HO alt. I would say a couple XS batts since thats the brand you named 1 under the hood a few in the back and obviously the other things you listed ie big 3 etc.
18. ok sounds good, how do you check status on paypal?
19. how are you sending the tracking information out?
20. https://weldingsupply.securesites.com/cgi-bin/einstein.pl?Next::1:UNDEF:OR:terms::PA#A1 stinger does make a great product, but welding cable will be very cheap and do the job for the OPs needs I just don't wanna spend the rediculous price that they cost. He isnt trying to spend alot which is more then likely why people are going to suggest welding cable. I personally use it in my vehicles and its been great! Fast shipping an cheap price from the link I posted. Very easy to work with as well.
21. The SA series subs dont require alot of space anyways, but all the listed subs will perform fairly well in small boxes with the power you have on hand.
22. Damn your always at it! A little off topic, but how is the new Zv3 woofer coming? I really want some 10s!!!
23. Alan has alot more stiff competition these days as well,. Craig is no slouch by any means!!
