windows 8.1 has unbelievable security features , my dad got a new laptop just before he passed and I had to take it to a computer geek to get around the pass lock code I like 8.1 somewhat ... it seems to work smoothly with very little hick ups so far

I don't do this often but here are 3 plots for the 10" Dcon top is 2.50cf3 middle is 2.0cf3 and bottom is 1.5cf3 ...all tuned at 33hz bottom lines are woofer excursion

some of those virus's can be sneeky , I have had a virus in a MP3 file that was on 3 different computers that wiped out 2 hard drives before we found it

t nuts work really well but if you do use them glue them in with some Bulldog I have seen a few people push down on the screw to hard when tightening them and push the t nut out of the hole ...sometimes it can be pulled back in and it bites and sometimes it doesn't ( can be a pain in the ass ) just sayin.....

put a 45* in the corner to smooth out the turbulance and it'll be fine

good luck finding anything with better than a 8 band eq or with the active processing I currently have the 80PRS and I'm concidering upgrading to the 99PRS because I can not find anything else worthy enough to be an upgrade the remote for the 80PRS sucks ass.........my old Premier 980BT was a better head unit

I think you should just break down and get a sub with a properly designed enclosure and call it a day your system is obviously lacking in the bass department or you wouldn't be here in the first place 30 years of building the wrong box is 30 years of listening to something that needs improvement...time to box up

Due to the complete lack of respect shipping companies have had for some past shipments this is how all enclosures will be packaged for now on , wrapped in 2" Styrofoam and 1/4" plywood

Prices are for the effective internal cf3 including displacements and bracing I'll work with these prices for a few months and see how they clash with the current price of materials

JFYI ...... that fancy screen door bracing will cause enough turbulence and restriction to alter performance I know this because of massive testing with a Termlab , spectrum analyzer and many many hours of listening other than that ... not bad

I'v built lots of bandpass a Band Pass box = blown woofer I have seen more woofers get SMOKED in bandpass enclosures ...... by the time you get that hot smell or a floating haze in the car it's too late..... she's done..... I'll stick to my twisted bass reflex designs , at least you can hear when the woofer is being stressed

not much of a beleiver about a month ago I was on my sunday morning thump a thon and a white tail leaped out of no where and did a power slide on the passenger front quarter panel , did a spin a roonie on 3 leges ( with one leg collapsed and on his face ) got up looked at me when I stopped to check for damage and limped away no damage to my car ....LOL

10" usually sound a little warm to be used as mid bass personally I would go with the two 6.5" per side I ran sealed pods with twin 6.5" midbass on my last system and it bounced the mirrors with out the subs

having him as a dad it made for an interesting childhood I spent a lot of time with Dad in the Boxing club/gym and traveling across Canada to all the wrist wrestling competitions.... we still own the boxing club , my sister is a fitness trainer and still runs her business there I actually broke my arm wrist wrestling when I was in grade 8 ..... still have a 3" long stainless steel pin in my elbow
