if he used 3/4" material you should have about 7.88 cf3 after you take off the port ( .4861cf3 ) and sub displacement ( .34cf3 ) and you should be tuned at about 31.47hz ............... providing there is no bracing eating up any CF3 BUT............................. your port Velocity is about 13% ........ I suspect the slope on your 25hz sub sonic filter is leaning towards 30hz too ...... don't expect much low end extension with that thing in the way if those measurements are correct you have more port noise than anything.......

for $500 USD I would have built you a massive Kerf flared port that looked like MickJaggers Lipps tuned bang on 30hz

these are temp untill I go active so I stayed cheep and made these match the enclosure and used black carpet

starting to take shape , I pushed everything as forward as possible in the doors , no room in the kicks because of the e brake pedal

time for the door pods I am sticking with the JBL C608gti components for now, these pods can easily be taken off the door and modified later when I go active

digging these new updated Icons , I'm glad I went with the 12" this time , the loss of the rear window wasn't s bad as I thought..there is a 4" space above the enclosure I can see thru...LOL

it kind of works like a port extension and has a band pass effect , really good output

it's a perfect fit , 3/16" wider and it would have been a bon fire instead of an enclosure

I now remember why I like the Icons .....
