  1. Doing door pods kick pods ect. It makes it easier than using the Matt when tryin to get the curves.
  2. No. Let me find a picture. It's basically fiberglass in loose strands not a Matt. Or mixed with a resin ect.
  3. I have been looking every where for loose fiberglass strands or kitty hair but all I seem to find is matts. Any one know where I can find it?
  4. Nice love the intro as well. I need me a pair.!
  5. I will be here in the near future. Don't have a review for them yet but I'm sure they are great along with the rest of the subs as I have had the pleasure seeing hearing almost every size and line minus the 10xcon..
  6. No I used an actual fiberglass Matt which I didn't like much. I am going to finish with kid hair but it is hard as a rock.
  7. Here are the pics!! Got to add another layer to smooth it out and strengthen it up This is a mock up on angle to see if it will work fine will not actually be glassed to the grill. Got to work all weekend so Updates will come around mon tuesday
  8. I'm not sure where you saw fifty dollars? A ported box for a dcon will run you about 130 shipped (could be a little higher or lower) with our 33% off deal for the next two boxes. You won't find a better box for that price in my opinion. Thanks, Rick Not a bad price!! Too bad you were not in phoenix I would have done you one around 80 for buying SSA Merchandise
  9. Heres an update for you guys I never went through with the video because I found out wihile I had my box stored in my moms garage it became wet on one side and the wood seperated after I started beating on it with the Ap3k. It is no where as loud as it was and I would be disapointed as well as Mark would be of a video of this! Anywho for the new stuff. Today I started my door pods 1 AA 7in mid in the door and a kick pod will follow housing another AA mid. Got some pics uploading on Photobucket and this is my first attempt at glassing, should it come out shitty I will so it again really want to learn this skill. A new box will also follow later housing Xcon 10s for more room for amp mounting ect! Time to wait for the pics.
  10. Very awsome sub!! Very musical and can handle great power!! Deff. get low which is what you seem to be looking for. House it in the right box and throw some powr at it and you will not be dissapointed!
  11. Nice!! I love the attitude too "I dont care if I reak anything" now thats spl thinking
  12. Maybe a loose connection on the sub or a speaker wire grounding out some where. Like stated before check everywire!!! Let us know what happens.

Here you all go!! 2 10 in the third row of an excursion! 15. Welcome, Do you have any pics of your old setup??
  16. there was a av input and an aux input in the menu but i turned them both on and still nothing. anything else? I believe you need to be looking for an output setting.. and input would be for say a dvd player or ps3 or ipod something sending a signal. Now if I understand correctly your monitors need a signal and your units input signal would have nothing to do with that be sure you are also using out put rcas from your headunit.
  17. It's processing. Wait. If your talking about the turbo, I think it's a Holset HX35 (according to his past videos). no the motor it self. Thanks for the info though.
  18. Is it an ls or b20 under the hood??
  19. They have to be bridgeable or some call it piggy backing.. So to answer your question you cant go out and get to plain jane amps and "link" them per-say. You can how ever run them to two seperate coils which I dont recomend gain setting becomes and issue. What amps do you have? It's strapping, not bridging. Bridging is two channels of the same amp, strapping is two separate amplifiers. Also, no reason not to run two separate amps to two separate coils of the same sub (or one amp per sub in other situations). The gain (and other) settings are easily matched with a basic DMM. Even then, they don't necessarily have to be identical. A minor variance won't audibly affect performance in the slightest. Though I don't really understand the fascination with strapping in the first place. In 90% of situations where people want to "strap" they can just as easily run one amp per sub or one amp per coil with exactly the same result. Correct Correct correct I had a brain fart forgive me. Stapable is the correct term I edited above, However many make the gain setting difficult for themselve although it is a simple task and yes you are correct with everything stated above I just dont recomend running to seperate coils on the same sub to keep things simple for people. Again thanks for the correction!
  20. High Recirculating. It didnt happen when it was on any other speed or atmospheric draw. It didnt bother me having them sealed I dont see any problem with doing it..
  21. I sealed mine up and when i would turn on the ac on its higest setting you could feel it push open the door a bit when you pulled the handle with no outward pressure. Mine ratteled alot could be an issue depending on you setup and car as well.
