  1. Check out the new Bravox line of components in the SSA Store ....
  2. Welcome ....
  3. Ive noticed it a little less than a week ago and was curious about the company as well. We just put them up last night. We are now the only authorized dealer that is completely online for this great company. Expect to see a thread from DENIM on these in the next day. Very exciting stuff! Have never heard their the comps but they have gotten great reviews. Looking forward to this lineup.
  4. I'm a little biased when it comes to Sundown since I own them and rep for them. US Amps is also a very good company and make quality products. But you will need to let us know a little bit more about your goals and budget.
  5. Just saw that the SSA store was carrying the Bravox line of components and coaxes! Just wondering when they started selling this line?
  6. I can't wait either, BUT I don't know what I will do when I am ALL done? Enjoy!
  7. Excellent build progress! Cannot wait to see more!
  8. If your getting 1 woofer get dual 2 and wire in parallel.
  9. 2 great choices .... Toss a coin as to what is the better buy! I have a pair of LI 15" d 4 and they are great sounding woofers and get loud with little power. I have the Sundown - SAZ-1000D on mine and they are very impressive. I helped a person with an Fi - SSD 18" dual 1 and that is another great woofer. Great sound quality and get's loud. He had an Mmats - D1400.2 pushing the 18". Whatever you choose, your going to be happy as both are great drivers!
  10. Tuned in for this ...
  11. 1/0 and 0 are the same! Just depends on the manufacturer.
  12. Acrylic is plastic sheeting like i was thinkin about... and like u say, there WILL BE SEAMS :( Plexi would be too heavy. I dont think thickness would need to be 1\4".. i was aiming for 1\8" to keep cost down. Anyways, jumping the seams is tricky. I found some stuff online that is suppose to be super lubricated that sprays out. Maybe i could spray that across the seams, i dont know... Up here in South Dakota Menard's carries 4x8 sheets of acrylic sheeting in 1/8" thickness! Not exactly cheap but would eliminate seams other than the where the sheets meet.
  13. Nice looking enclosure! Exactly how do you have the woofer wired up? Looks like a positive from one coil and a negative from the other coil to me!
  14. How about some sort of .25" plastic sheeting or plexiglass. Would be smooth as long as you didn't have seams.
  15. Nice looking amplifier! Are those Elites dual 4 ohm?
  16. Ring terminals + these Parts-Express.com:Dayton BPA-38SN HD Binding Post Pair Satin Nickel | Post binding posts binding post binding air dayBinding123008
  17. What amp?
  18. Here is another couple options for you ..... SoundDigital - SD2001-D .: TeamSD :. "The smallest high-power amplifiers in the world. The biggest power density in the world." Or Stetsom - 2K5 E 1 Ohm http://www.stetsom.com.br/eng/DetalhesProduto.aspx?c=8102&cat=172
  19. I would highly suggest doing some research on the company and their products before suggesting them. Yes, I know they just changed ownership, but still loads of people were burned, are owed money or had early product failure were lied to. Why anybody would want the headache created by the previous owner is beyond me!
  20. Looks good! I still like to use pencil and paper for mine, but always nice to compare what I get versus others. Very nice job! Thanks for the share!
  21. Mods close this, as this has been named already!
