  1. No not at all as long as you have the box in the recommended enclosure size and you have your amp gain set properly. Should be good to go.
  2. Welcome ....
  3. My Bad.....Ported!
  4. Go with the larger of the optimum enclosure sizes under the XCON technical section! You won't be disappointed.
  5. and what types of enclosure are good to feel the bass rather than hear it? What type of music do you listen too?
  6. If your looking for ear loudness then most of the time a ported enclosure will be louder than sealed. If your going with the XCON, your getting a very good versatile driver that can perform great in both sealed and ported.
  7. That was a nice increase! Congrats!
  8. SAZ-2000D has been discontinued and will be replaced by the all new SAZ-2500D no eta yet! RDumb is just plain bad news and would avoid at all costs.
  9. Damn! Looks like it went in flawlessly!
  10. Iirmc AQ recommends a 38hz tuning. I would go with their recommendation.
  11. Sundown SAZ-1500D
  12. Insane! Awesome numbers!
  13. http://sd.craigslist.org/ele/1670707533.html Another fail!
  14. Those are some great looking dogs! I love my dogs!
  15. lets see those pics! Sorry Chop will get some updated pics!
  16. I say go ICONS! From everything I have read, they are low end monsters. My 10" DCON is an amazing driver that has great sq, lowend and output imo. The ICONS would accomplish your goals with ease and be a great match on your SAZ-2000D.
  17. Titebond or any other quality wood glue over liquid nail! I have used latex and 100% silicone in past boxes to seal my enclosures. Lately I have done what ///M5 said and used wood glue and mdf dust to seal up the seams.
  18. With the size you have given you should still be able to use a square or slot port design.
  19. I would say go Kicker! Just not a fan of Maxxsonics! Kicker has always made a quality amplifier!
  20. Budget? Do you have either of these amplifiers?
  21. Cheezuz Ox! Not bad at all if I say so! Don't get lazy and quit you will balloon out and end up regretting it!
  22. Try the Q in a ported box as said above! If it doesn't satisfy your need for bass then give it to me and buy a BL or BTL.
  23. The Herculiner is great stuff goes on with a roller and can put on as many coats as needed. Best thing is it doesn't stink! So it's the regular bed liner, right? Not something made just for boxes? About how much did it cost you? I got it local at Menards here for $69 for the 1 gallon kit. And it's the standard bed liner kit.
  24. I use these and have never had any issues... Screw Size 10, 1-1/8" Hex Head, Black Ox & Wax Finish from Madisound
  25. The Herculiner is great stuff goes on with a roller and can put on as many coats as needed. Best thing is it doesn't stink! I bought the TSUNAMI off eBay a couple years ago. Not sure if they make them anymore.
