I royally have f'd up this time.....
Now this is just plain ignorance on your part! How so? I know it's a little raw and I wouldn't go about it exactly this way (I would have some compassion of course) but you really think adoption is better? Pass your problem off on someone else? Your not passing on a problem to somebody else, your helping some couple who cannot have children on their own to have the chance at raising a child. Abortion in some instances is correct, but this is reckelss, irresponsibility on two young adults that should know better.

Sack up and take responsibility! Don't be a douche and run! Get together with both families and see what's best for the both of you. Nothing wrong with adoption if you cannot take care of a child properly.

- mono amp clipping
YES! Take a DMM and measure current draw at the amp when playing to find out how much voltage drop you have. Did you do the "Big 3"? How many runs of 1/0 power and ground cable do you have?- Need some help finding a kit
Take the shipping hit and send your Fi subs to Fi to be re-coned. Top notch quality!- Help with e8 v2 d2
Not near enough port area and your amp settings are way off. Set your crossover setting to around 60-80hz, SSF between 25-35HZ and bass boost off. Set your gain to minimum and slowley turn up until you hear your subs starting to stress or distort. You have a big amplifier and hopefully you have good electrical to supply the amplifier with the proper current.- Where to place subwoofer box
The joys of SPL is test, test and more test. And lot's of beer!- will this box be big enough?
Titebond II Wood glue is what I like to use and clamps. I glue and brad nail all of my boxes and never have had one come apart. But I don't run a bazillion watts either. Just a reference in my truck (extended cab) I used (2) 4" aeros side firing on each side of my enclosure for my IA Deathrow 18" and achieved a respectable 146.3-146.5 on the SPL Labs LCD Meter at 42hz. All powered off a Sundown SAX-1200D amplifier.- Where to place subwoofer box
Test with a DB Meter and move the box around until you find the sweet spot for your vehicle.- I know you guys are soooooo tired of this question
To hell with USED check out the screaming good deals on the Incriminator Audio Death Penalty series from the SSA Store "Black N Blue Sale"!- I know you guys are soooooo tired of this question
Budget for subs? Budget for electrical upgrades ie. Batts, alternator, wire etc?- Gain setting problem
Try 40-80hz tone.- Gain setting problem
40hz tone is what I have used when using an O-Scope.- Stinger Volt Meter & Remote Turn On Wire
You can split it and use 1 section for +12 and the other section for +12 remote.- 2 SA10's in a single cab
I have done plenty of truck installs and side firing in a single cab has produced the best results. I have a full size GMC extended cab and ran a single IA DR 18" off 1 Sundown SAX-1200D and before I sold it, it consistently hit 146.3-146.5 on the SPL-Labs LCD Meter at 42HZ.- 2 SA10's in a single cab
I tend to tune around 35hz for my tuning as that seems to sound best for my listening tastes. Your looking at roughly 2.5-3.0 cubic feet for a pair of SA-10". I would look to do 2 4" Aeros side firing into the cab corners of your truck.- 2012 Icon testing
Very nice! Can I trade in my 10" DCON in for a new 10" ICON .... Seriously I think it's time for an upgrade in 2012 for my Civic.- New to the forum
- Need a box designed.
MDF is just fine to use. Birch Plywood is lighter, more expensive but very good acoustical properties. But plain plywood is not recommended for sub enclosures. A link to the enclosure your referring to would be helpful.- Anyone familiar with Axiom for HT
Not at all familiar with Axiom but these sure look like a winner. - profile ap740 is amazing.
