  1. That's why Sundown is an innovator not an imitator
  2. 3500's will be a mainstay as it's an exclusive Sundown board. Let's just say the new "NS-1" will be an amazing competition amplifier.
  3. Can't believe I missed this! Holy shyte Lanceman them are some sexy woofs!
  4. No, to be honest, I dont know how 2 do that. My main goal is to break 150 in the lanes. I want to put terminals on the outside of the box, so i could wire it back to 1 ohm for daily use. I dont listen to it above 1/2 volume anyway on a daily basis. The only time it would be wired to 0.25 would be for a burp. Easiest way to to do the wiring is to use threaded rod and wire each coil seperately then you can wire it on the outside of the box how you want. There should be some topics here on SSA measuring box rise.
  5. Have you ever calculated your box rise? 0.25 ohm is getting pretty damn iffy if it's a daily system, burps you should have no problems.
  6. Does your 4 channel have RCA out jacks. If it does then run that to the mono block. What kind of LOC do you have?
  7. I hate to be a nosey nellie but will it still retain the classic Sundown Casing? It will retain the 4500D casing -- which is quite similar to the other amps but wider. If the same buildhouse as the 4500D go with the Sundown blue circuit board
  8. I hate to be a nosey nellie but will it still retain the classic Sundown Casing?
  9. Wow this is exciting news!
  10. A little overkill on the power for the 4 SA-8's.
  11. I like the heavier duty RCA Connections on the Crescendo. The new heatsink makes the Crescendo more appealing compared to the older models.
  12. Crescendo looks way better than the new DC heatsink imo.
  13. The AQ drivers are not designed for sealed enclosures. The Sundown will work in a sealed but are better suited in a ported enclosure. The SSA DCON would be a great choice. You could also re-build and a new enclosure for your RE and tune it higher.
  14. Fuckin A right. Let's go Sabres!
  15. I have pushed 600 watts to my d4 DCON Very nice vids man!
  16. I meant the 2 DR's would be louder than the 1 DR on the same amplifier. I should have clarified myself better. The 6 Skars would be louder than the 2 IA DR's. Cone Area ftw!
  17. Nice review on the SA-15!
  18. Try another IA DR 12". Those are an amazing sub woofer for the price. 2 in a properly aligned ported enclosure would sound incredible and would be louder on the same amplifier.
  19. Here I thought my wife was a thrifty coupon shopper! Holy shit that is a ton of savings!
  20. That Solo X didn't stand a chance when the staple was in the gap. But looking at the coil I would say clipping was the biggest culprit. Sounds like the cheaped out and went with 8 gauge since it was all concealed. 8 gauge for main power and ground to a battery bank is screaming voltage drop.
  21. Good luck Ferdinand!
  22. Budget and goals with the BL? When you jump up in power you will need to address the electrical.
