  1. When you argue that black is pink it isn't going to go well.Unless your talking to colorblind people
  2. Personal preference is what it will come down to, if it were me either the IA or Sundown
  3. More details please. Clean power vs dirty power
  4. Seems more like 2 years ago than 3, I was also thinking the same thing.
  5. Not as cheap as supertweeters, you may be able to find some used ones on forums. The cheapest Eric Stevens horns are like $299 a pair for the Pro model.
  6. I used them for a while but didn't really care for them or any supertweeter for that matter. A pair of horns underneath the dash would be perfect.

The carbons are some of my favorite mids and at some point I will get some more just to have in my collection.Let me know where you can find them, I can't find them anywhere. I even emailed Nick @Fi and he said they may make mids again but its a longshot if they do.
  8. Just like Sundown normally does, Jacob will post if he is having a sale or not. Or maybe SSA will have a BF sale.
  9. So dash mounting in the oem location wouldn't be the best. Are you woofers in the dash, if not then that should easily answer your question
  10. What components are they?
  11. Do what ricksi30 suggested and place the speakers in the spots your willing to mount them and see what spot you like best. Then install them
  12. Another question is what fabrication do you wanna do? If none then on the dash were the factory tweets are would be your only choice.
  13. Some people lik there tweeters down in the door next to their mid driver, while others enjoy the sails or a-pillars if that's what you meant by the dash. Just like anything in car audio testing will be your best friend.
  14. You would be amazed the things people buy just because of the name on it. Even the people who bought one just say they like it and can't tell you why. What's even funnier, wwhen you tell them it sucks they rebuttal with hearsay. If you think SMD and his top notch engineers are so great please pass me what your smoking. Puff puff pass
  15. No you can't, that amp wouldn't give you 3k anyway.
  16. No need to seperate them just run both subs in the same chamber if you go the sealed route.
  17. Thanks shizzzon for that little tid bit of information, makes sense.
  18. So its SSA or nothing? OP if those are you two choices go with the X-10".
  19. Or just help him out and tell him since this is a car audio forum. The Big 3 is upgrading your wire under the hood and leaving factory wire intact: (Add a 1/0 wire or #2 wire like you have now). 1. Wire from positive battery post to positive alternator post. 2. Wire from negative battery post to bolt on the engine block. 3. Wire from negative battery post to bolt on the frame or strut tower, whichever is easier. .
