Yes I am dont like the port to the side. Also do you know what these AQs like size wise? What AQ recommends you put them in, go look on there site or call DJ-AQ owner (he will help you out). Next time I would find that info out before or during making my purchase

Bro Im still tryna to do this myself, I havent yet achieved a system that can do this so Im of no assistance.

I only used Sundown equipment before but when recently shopping for new amps I gave DD a look at as well. When I went to visit a local dealer he was telling me to stick with Sundown as far as amps go, he said DD are great amps for there money and they do there job but Sundown is what they preferred and what works better for them. They still use DD subs in there competition vehicles and just recently became a Sundown Dealer, one of the only ones in my area. Usually a shop will take your money but I appreciate there input as the amp I was looking for was twice the price of the one I bought. Just my .02 and what I have heard from someone who dealt with the two. As far as the DD having more power and being better built, only an engineer on amplifiers can tell you that. Even if it is 300 watts more power or less power, you will never notice it at all.

If you feel air leaks around the subwoofer and where its mounted then add weather stripping to fix the seal better. Bracing helps the structure not resin.

Horrible thread, pick a car that has the features you want and at the price you can afford. If your not shopping for a Honda CR-x then its useless to try and find the loudest car. Mitsubishi has less space to pressurize and vice versa for a SUV. If you really want to know what will be louder than buy both cars and test them out, the only way in car audio to find out whats the loudest. Testing, testing and more testing.

4 gauge wire can handle loads up to 150A so I dont see anything wrong with this amp having a 4 gauge input. My 1300rms amp at 13.8 volts has 4 gauge power/ground inputs as well. I will be using a reducer since i already have 1/0 ran, so if you need to run 1/0 just get a reducer.

The only brands I use are Stinger HPM and KnuKonceptz Kolossus Fleks right now. In the past I used Kicker Hyperflex wire and loved it just didnt enjoy the price, I also used welding supply before as well. , what he said Really its all in the install but cone area does not always win, that is usually a fair rule when comparing two like/identical subs. In this case I would say motor force would prevail and more than likely the BTL's should be louder but too many factors to make a ultimate decision.

There are no best cables, the thread your talking about it pertains to some RCA brands not being compatible with the Sundown amps. I think that issue has been fixed so nothing to worry about on that end. I use KnuKoncepts RCA's and some cheapos from Radio Shack with my Sundown amp with no problems.
