  1. In car audio Peak Power Sells, a lot of fail in these ads.
  2. Nothing against them just dont really feel the BL's for some reason at least not for my goals. Im torn between the new look on the Icons and the old look, I still really dig the old look.
  3. The kicker just because it gives you the power you need at the ohm load you will be wiring your sub to.
  4. Question for SSA, right now I want to go back to 2-12"s on a SAZ-2000D (minus well go for cone area instead of just one 15"). I have 3.5ft^3 to 4ft^3 to work with after displacements (subs, port and bracing), I will be tuning to 30Hz. My budget for subs is going to be around $200-$300 a subwoofer, right now Im looking at the SSA Icons or RE Audio SX's. My goals are a great ground pounder with crushing lows, I listen to mostly: Chopped & Screwed, R&B, Old School and some Rap. The enclosure will be port and subs rear firing, if there is any more information you want to know let me know (also electrical will be up to par so that is handled). Thanks for any input or suggestions.
  5. Mexican Food for lunch
  6. If you want Kicker here are some deals: Kicker Mono Subwoofer Amps | Car Amplifiers | Car Audio | Car Audio, Video & GPS at Sonic Electronix
  7. I have been without a sub since October so no bass for months. Yeah I have speakers in the car but barely listen to it, mostly wind some days and trying to locate where noise is getting into the car.
  8. All the plans are changing, I just ordered some Super Tweeters from Crescendo Audio as a replacement till I get the horns. I also just ordered a MB Quart DSC280 for my horns (temporary amp), will either keep or sell Sundown SAX-125.2 until I get a 4channel amp in the future to run horns and mids (but that is a secret for now). I sold the Z15 V.1 and box last night to a friend so in the works of deciding on some new subwoofers, so far either it will be the 15" Xcon or Z15 V.2 in 3.5ft^3 @ 30hz. No pictures or anything since I made purchases this morning but as soon as I have equipment in hand I will be posting pictures. My friend who I sold the Z15 to, just got a 7" flip out radio so I will be doing the install and will more than likely post pictures for that as well. So just a little update fellas.
  9. Naw that wouldnt apply since nobody would be able to land on there feet falling from the rim the way he did (physically impossible), that is why I say hang on the rim or let go only when you can land safely.
  10. I'd skullfuck you if I could. OP: You need a minimum of 100,000 watts to even get the BTL to move! Seriously though? Do some research on drivers and their behavior at all levels of power input. There is NO minimum amount of power needed for ANY driver.
  11. 33-35hz sounds nice, check your wiring ohm load so it wont damage the amp if wired to a lower ohm load than the amp can handle. Stop pushing the amp that hard, it wont make any more power by turning it up just gonna produce more heat until you trash it.
  12. Yeah your right, damn he feel too nasty . Thats when you should just hang on the rim and catch a technical foul, never let go of a rim if your body is going in a swinging motion with a lot of forward momentum.
  13. Yeah I knew it had to be a bad battery or alternator, thats good you had a spare battery for it.
  14. He is saying that he sent them an email on the 19th after being on the forum and has not heard anything since then. FI stays busy my friend
  15. Unless he is competing that wont really make that much of an audible difference to ear running that amp at 1 ohm versus 0.5 ohm but to each its own.
  16. I dont know about stronger but I do know if your gonna take your sub out a lot it will come in handy instead messing the wood up by taking the screws in and out continuously.

That does mean anything at all besides the box being made for the Treo more than the XXX, you cant compare subs by doing a drop in unless the box is made for both subs which can be kinda hard since there specs differ.
  18. Great job and I knew drilling the holes out bigger wouldnt of caused any problems as long as you did it right
  19. Sounds like you have a nice plan so go with the sealed box until you can buy or even make your own ported box. Just make sure your sealed enclosure is within the recommended enclosure size and you factor in the displacement = 0.19ft^3.
  20. It means times 2, couldnt agree anymore with the previous statement.
  21. Everybody has me wanting to get a DC Power Alternator
  22. x2 and next time please provide more information (read topic posting guidelines). The amps with the power and features you need to meet your goals will do.
  23. Im lost, you want to hit low notes but you want to tune your next box to 37hz?
